Prototype
I really wanted this device to work. Conceptually it is perfect…unfortunately the construction is more like a prototype rather than an actual working tool. Too light and fragile. Too bad because there is nothing else on the market with the double head.

Does its job
Product was easy to assemble. I like the plastic tines as they do not bend when hitting a rock. My soil is soft and the tool did the trick. It does a good job of punching holes in the ground and after spreading seed, tilling it into the soil. I am very happy with the product.

Insufficient Design Consideration
I saw all the reviews claiming that the tool would permanently bend after use. I assumed people were applying too much force and these issues were after considerable use. WRONG. First time I used it, taking great care to not exert too much downward pressure - I looked closely after 3 minutes of use to see it was already bent. Poor design, clearly not tested under user conditions. I don't know how a product like this that fails to do its assigned job even makes it to the point of sale in the first place. If there was a way to get my money back, I would. Huge waste, but I learned a lesson about trusting others' reviews more.

Not as easy as they make it look
was able to get it to do what it's supposed to, but the plastic tines break off and I wouldn't be able to use it again if I need to. Should be priced at $30 since you'll need a new one every year. And it's not as erasy as they make it look. The hard clay soil in N. TX has to be softened, and this tool acted more like a $20 cultivator than a hole poker. Stick with a cultivator in clay soils

Good design, looks sturdy but is flimsy.
Nice design but poor materials. Plastic tines will break if you hit a stone. Structural bracket is hefty but soft and bends easily.

... to the cross brace for weight and it works great for grass seed
I add a brick to the cross brace for weight and it works great for grass seed.

Not Worth the Money. Frame Bends Too Easily
Poor craftsmanship. Only good for a single use due to the insufficient strength of the frame. It’s all bent up now; which is extremely disappointing. Don’t purchase this item if you want to use it more than once.

NOT a professional tool, not sturdy, not usable.
Weak frame bends too easily when applying pressure with the foot as per instructions; the teeth don’t dig deep enough to do anything useful except on the very softest of soil where this contraption would not be needed anyway; finally even when exceptionally tight the side hand-hold slips down the shaft therefore affording no leverage and is even dangerous. In a word, useless and unusable.
