RockportMen's World Tour Classic Walking Shoe, Brown Tumbled, 10 XW US

I have loved Rockports (had 5 pairs) and have worn them for over 10 years. These replacements for my 10 year old shoes look very good BUT they are not comfortable (unforgiving tightness at the lowest lace position. I think that they are lower quality which contributes to less comfortable shoes.It seems that a combination of multiple cost saving processes (different material on the sole, pre-stretched leather (noted as a positive), cheaper cut/design) all add up to lower quality.Note that I found the same lower quality for a different model of Rockports that I purchased from the department store (David Jones).Sadly, I will look at different brands from now on.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They last for years and are great for wearing anywhere. My laces used to wear out first, but since I've been double-knotting them, I find that all parts of the shoe last many years and start to go at once--uppers, soles and laces. (This comment about the laces is because the thick laces are irreplaceable, for I've never found another source.)

I wear an extra wide size 10 shoe and have difficulty finding casual shoes that are comfortable. These fit the bill. They are so comfortable that when my original pair starting showing some wear, I bought a new pair to have on hand when they become too worn.

These are my husband's favorite walking shoes, so comfortable that he wears them just about everyday. When his first pair wore out after 3 years, he had to have another pair just like them. It was great to find them on Amazon at such a good price.

I ordered these for my soon-to-be husband in a 10WWW. They fit perfectly and were comfortable from the get-go. He plans to wear them on our honeymoon in England. Rockport can be counted on for good quality at reasonable prices.
