It's an ugly job no matter how you slice it, but Misty Bolex makes it much easier, and eliminates that stinky scale that's impossible to scrub off without HCL acid.

Hard water
We have well water and this helps keep the calcium down not just in the toilet just be careful it is an acid

Works great, need ventilation!
This is the real deal! Cleans like the old toilet bowl cleaner used to. Looks like hydrogen peroxide on lime. Bubbles it away! Make sure you have excellent ventilation! This will smell up your house and burn your nostrils if you don't!

Best for rust removal
We live in a rural location with very high iron content in our well water. Even with treatment, rust stains develop in our toilets over time. This is the ONLY product I have tried that will remove these stains. And it removes them completely! Highly recommend.

Has way too strong a smell (actually emits a "smoke". Diversey Crew has a better cleaner...

Disappointed.
Absolutely no effect on our hard water stains. The instructions say to leave the product on for at least 10 minutes. I left it for 15 minutes, scrubbing and adding more cleaner every 5 minutes, all the while worried about the dangerous fumes, only to find the hard water stains exactly the same as before the cleaning.I'm willing to keep using the product in the hope it will be effective in the long run, since I have a whole case of the stuff.
