The build quality is great, it looks REALLY good on the bike, and it is relatively easy to install. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the screw's alignment from the pad. One of the screws were a bit off so I needed to force it quite a bit, but at the end it worked well. That's not enough to downgrade a star. Excellent product overall.

I did a lot of research to find a sissy bar compatible with my bike. Luckily I found this one and I saw that the seller wrote that it was compatible with my 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900cc. In fact the holes are exact, but the bracket ring doesn't catch on the finish. I had to use a grinder to cut the 4 rings, repaint and buy 4 spacers in addition to having to buy 4 screws. Another problem is the manual, which is ridiculous, without any assembly instructions. To assemble I had to look at the photos in the ad and find out how to assemble. Finally, after installing it, it was pretty cool. So if you want to buy, know that you will have work if your bike is one like mine. list of material you will need: 4 m8 1.25 35mm screws, 2 3/4 inch spacers and 2 1/2 inch spacers and patience.

The backrest is very well made. I liked the fact that I didn’t have to remove the plastic decorative trim. The other reviewers who said that the mounting bolts are not included are correct. You will have to go to Home Depot or Lowes and get the M8 metric screws. I went with 1.25x40mm. I reused the manufacturer’s spacers for the rear screws and added the spacers to the front screws. The installation was fairly easy but the instructions are terrible. Overall, very comfortable and you can’t beat the value.

Everything is great but it is not a straight forward install on a 22 vulcan 900 classic. Maybe if the company provided longer main bracket m8 screws and proper spacers this would be a 10 minute install. Updated to 5 star, company means well but missing 4x 1.25 38mm screws and proper spacers to avoid metal touching plastic. Besides having to get my own screws and spacers, solid product. I want to get their black side/engine guards as well, hopefully the screws will fit a 2022 vulcan 900 classic:)

The packaging was ridiculous. Took me 20 minutes just to cut all the parts free of the wrap. Too many small parts to put together. Then could not make it fit my Vulcan 900. Wasted a couple of hours before sending it back. No response from the manufacturer after several e-mails.
