I purchased this quote to put on my classroom wall, and it looks great. I applied it to a wood surface without cleaning it first, and it still adhered well. I noticed that another reviewer mentioned the difficulty of application, which might have been due to the lack of instructions supplied in the packaging. Fortunately, I had purchased a wall quote from another company that provided instructions:1.) Prepare the surface by cleaning it with alcohol and allowing it to dry.2.) Flatten the quote on a desk/table.3.) Rub over the letters with a credit card.4.) Slowly remove the backing from the letters. If they stick to the backing, replace the backing and smooth it over with a credit card.5.) Place the adhesive back of the quote onto the wall.6.) Smooth the quote with a credit card to ensure adhesion to the wall.7.) Apply a damp paper towel to the front of the quote to aid in the release of the letters from the paper on the front.8.) Slowly remove the paper from the letters (NOT at a 90 degree angle, or the letters will peel). If the letters begin to peel, lay the paper back down and go over it again with a credit card.

The product was easy to install. Just follow the instructions by centering it on your desired location, tape it to the wall, lift it up and remove bottom layer, then stick it carefully to the wall. Now the instructions called for a flat object to be used to smooth it out. I just ran my fist over the letters, and then rubbed my fingers firmly over each individual letter as I was peeling it off. Worked fine. It looks beautiful, and the quote is inspirting.

This was my first time buying a wall quote or even applying one (once I received the product). I probably read dozens of reviews to get an idea of what to expect once I received my product. I'm happy to say that this seller and their product exceeded my expectations. I applied the quote in less than 5 minutes. The directions are easy to follow and the outcome is professional. I have bought another quote from this seller and look forward to the high quality product I am receiving. If this is your first time ever buying a wall quote and you plan on applying it yourself, I recd this quote and the size. It's not too big, not too small and it'll help you get an idea of how easy the process is to apply these kind of decals. Hope this helps.

I was slightly concerned about ordering a vinyl decal for our home because I was given one as a gift and it did not perform well. But this decal looks amazing! It was super easy to apply and put up. There was a small crease in the vinyl due to it being folded during shipping, but I put two heavy books on it for 10 minutes and it was fixed! You can't even tell! The crease disappeared and I put it on the wall with ease! Thanks!

Very easy to apply. I got a large wall decal (from another company) for my living room and it was MUCH harder to apply. This one was so simple. And it looks very nice on the wall. I put this on the wall in my bedroom, additional motivation to get my lazy butt out of bed in the mornings. Not sure it helps with my motivation, but it looks nice, and has simple application.

Price was great on this, but it is not similar to the ones you buy in stores. You transfer this yourself to the sticky backing. It is not incredibly hard, but takes slightly more effort to do this (as opposed to ones you where it is one step). But the price was great and quality good, which makes up for this. Looks great on the wall!

We paid less than 10 bucks, and got a great little decoration! It was very easy to put up. I started on one side and smoothed each letter with a credit card, working my way across. I gingerly pulled the paper backing up and re-smoothed letters that needed it before pulling off the paper. It went up clean on a flat white wall. It has been sticking with no issues for over six months. I would recommend it to friends and family! I like to put these quotations in unexpected places. We put ours over the top of a door; it is just a little less than an average door width. (See my customer image.)

This decal was not like any of the others I had ever ordered. When it's on the wall, it looks like each letter is surrounded by plastic. It was easy to put up, but doesn't really look that great. Glad it is upstairs where only my boys see it. Would not recommend the product. Try to find the quote somewhere else.
