Attractive and works great
I love how this looks in my kitchen! Most water dispensers are so clunky or office looking. This one is super fashionable and easy to load and the 3 temps are awesome! Love the safety feature for the hot water too :)

Short life span
This piece looks nice and worked well for a while but it broke after 3 years. The support for this product was to trouble shoot yourself. I could see that the common issue is to replace the pump which I did and it still doesn't work. The customer service for this company was shockingly bad. They insisted I go through Amazon's customer service which is weird to begin with since it's their own product and the issue was not an Amazon issue. They deflected and refused to acknowledge that an expensive machine should last longer than 3 years. So now I have to purchase a new one and I won't be purchasing a Primo brand. Very disappointing.

Very attractive and functional water dispenser, the convenience is addictive.
If you rent a water dispenser or want one, this does a great job of bringing together all the things required to make a fantastic water dispenser. It’s got a great appearance kind of a retro look, the performance has been great, and it has many of the features you would want. It’s also brought to you by a trusted name in the water business, Primo which is also Sparklets. If you need or want a high quality water dispenser, this will make a fantastic choice. If you like bottled water cold, then this is one of those devices that once you get use to using it, it’s very hard to live without. Its super convenient to have filtered cold water at the touch of a button, and the added benefit of having water hot enough to make tea or soup instantly is fantastic. The great things: I really like the bottom loading water coolers, long gone are the days of trying to tip an open water bottle onto a hole. The water comes out really cold or hot enough to make tea, soup, ext. This model comes with a door open shut off sensor that will turn it off when the door is open, to prevent it from starting to suck water as your changing it. It’s a big bonus that the hose will go around any standard sized 3 or 5-gallon bottle, meaning you can buy almost any brands of water. You can even refill them with your own water if you have an acceptable source and buy a few bottles. And finely, this one has one spout for the water to dispense and it protrudes down, much better than the rented one that had 2 spouts that were touching and you couldn’t put the one you’re using down into the water bottle, causing it to spill sometimes. Things to think about: It seems to make some noises and rattling; I wouldn’t want it close to my bed or in a studio apartment. It also, produces a fair amount of heat, but similar to your fridge. If I’m close to it, I can feel it. Overall, this is a fantastic dispenser. It looks great, performs perfectly, gives you every option you would want on one, and will provide you with a cold, hot, and room temperature water source that you will appreciate every time you use it. Do yourself and your family a favor and get one, you’ll love it. I really hope you found this information to be helpful in your decision.

Convenient And Works As Advertised
I have an under cabinet one stage filtration set up that the builder installed that I don't use. I chose to do like many others do and buy cases of bottled water from the local grocery store. This has worked out fine, except sometimes I forget that I'm low on water and don't feel like leaving out to purchase more cases. That got old for me after awhile. We have recycling here so I have a bin just for plastics, glass etc.. but sometimes my family will forget and throw away the empty water bottles. This water dispenser eliminates me having to go pick up cases of bottled water as often as I was. Fewer trips fr me is a good thing. It eliminates bottles being thrown away instead of being put into the recycling bin. With this dispenser, you can use either 5 gallon or 3 gallon jugs. I'm using 5 gallon jugs. It comes with a set up guide. It dispenses Hot, Cool and Cold water. I find that the cold water is actually cold. I mention this because in reading reviews of other dispensers, one thing that seems to be a complaint is that the water isn't cold as it should be. The cool setting actually dispenses cool water. The hot water comes out hot so be careful when dispensing. By the way, there is a safety feature built in for the hot water. Instead of pressing the hot water button to unlock it before dispensing like with cool and cold, you actually have to press and hold both the hot water button to unlock and also press the dispense button at the same time before any hot water will be dispensed. This dispenser is very quiet. One thing worth noting is that this dispenser is much shorter than what you would find in an office setting. If I were to use this in my home office, I could just turn around in my chair to dispense water in my cup. (that's comfortable) I'm a tall guy 6'2" but I am not finding the height of his machine to be a problem. Who knows, I may look into some sort of stand for this if one is available. As a nice bonus, Primo includes (as of this review) a couple of coupons to get you started. 1.) Coupon redeemable for one bottle of Primo Pre-Filled Exchange Water...maximum price $14.99. 2.) Coupon redeemable for one bottle of Primo Self-Service Refill Water (Up To 5 Gallons) I am very happy with this dispenser. It's works as advertised and is worth the price. I recommend this Primo Smart Touch Water Dispenser. I hope this helps.

Great water cooler!
I love this water cooler! Not my first Primo cooler, and it won't be my last. It is really fantastic! It arrived in excellent shape, which you would think wouldn't be an issue but I have had TWO other coolers delivered and both suffered damage in shipping (one quit working as a result of a dent that we didn't realize at first affected operation). So I was beyond thrilled to see this one was in pristine condition. It was super easy to set up - comes with instructions but honestly if you have used one of these before, you've used them all so you really don't need the instructions. Within minutes of taking it out of the box, we were good to go. It has a beautiful design - it is SO rare to find a white bottom loading dispenser, so that's a bonus. It works great! The touch screen works very nicely and responsive, it heats/cools water very quickly after putting in a new jug, and it's overall just easy to operate. If you drink a lot of water, it's a good investment to get a cooler - and if you get a cooler, I highly, HIGHLY recommend you make it this one. It's a wonderful investment that will pay for itself quickly.

Decent dispenser, but no hot temperature adjustment..
My wife and I have been using this daily for a couple weeks now and we have had no major issues. It's very easy to change the bottle on this bottom load design. Although my wife has a little trouble pulling the straw assembly off the bottle, it takes a bit of hand strength to do. The compressor is relatively quiet, there's no loud hum or buzzing noises when it is running. But with it being in the kitchen we probably wouldn't notice if it was noisy. I was initially concerned that the touch sensors would be finicky but so far they work well and haven't caused any issues. The only thing I find slightly annoying is having to press two buttons for hot water. I don't have kids and kids don't come to my house so It's not really a feature I need. But it's not exactly difficult to push two buttons at the same time either, so I haven't bothered to research if It can be disabled. It maintains a fairly consistent temperature for both hot and cold. To get an accurate reading i ran the first couple seconds of water into the tray to make sure I didn't get any room temperature water in the cup. For cold the water is on average 40°F and the hot on average is about 175°F The cold temperature is perfectly fine, but I do wish the hot water was at least 20° higher for brewing coffee, 200° would be perfect. 175° isn't exactly optimal. Anyways, overall it works and we are happy with it. Edit: I contacted Primo customer service asking how to set the hot water temperature higher and there is no way to increase the hot water temperature on this model. Apparently they removed that feature on the bottom load but the top load still has it. ( No idea why) They told me my only option was to return it to amazon for a refund or exchange. So if 170°f isn't hot enough for you pass on this one.

Let down a bit
We upgraded to this dispenser from an older style primo dispenser model 601130. I loved our other one, but was excited for the upgrade. This one looks nicer, and has upgrades like the "cool" temp option, and continuous dispensing, bottom loading in the cabinet is easier to do vs top loading, and hides the jug in use. The water tray has less grooves for passing dust and crumbs to get stuck in and is easier to clean. The touch controls are very responsive and my daughters, ages 2-10, learned how to operate it quickly. Now here is my issue, why 2 stars have been deducted. The cold water only gets as cold as 49°F, not the stated 39°F. The hot water only reaches 149°F, not the stated 189°F. The old model DID reach the proper temperatures. The biggest selling point for these dispensers is the convince of instantly cold water not requiring ice, and instantly hot water not requiring the microwave or stove. This model has let me down.
