Product is supposed to contain approx. 1/2 ounce (0.5 oz) of material. Ordered 4 packages in Pink and One in orange. I have purchased feathers for bucktails for over 25 years. All of these packages seemed to be short or on the light side. so I weighed them. Each weighed less than 50% of what it was supposed to be. As you can see in the pictures the actual weights were between 0.20 ounces and 0.15 ounces.RETURNING for refund.

The quality seems fine, but there's much less than I expected. Very small pieces of saddle. I guess the cost is average for this amount, but I originally thought I had found a good deal.Update: the quality is actually not great. Theres only a few feathers that can be used for smaller than size 12 hooks, and some of them look like they've been used! (Missing clean sections of fibers, clipped tips, etc.)I'm returning them.

Total garbage. As others have mentioned it almost completely unusable and 90% ended up in the waste basket. Tiny feathers with all fluff and the lowest quality product I have seen. Waste of time and money ordering this product.

I've been looking for the right hackle to work with my safety pin spinners. I've used some hen hackle and marabou, but this black deer belly hair works the best. I got the black and white colors then used Sharpies to change the white hair color. It holds its shape in the water and I've caught several fish on my creations. I'm including a picture of my recent creations with the belly hair.

They claim you get approximately 1/2 an ounce of feathers so short changing the customer this much is likely intentional on the part of this seller since the weight is way outside any reasonable margin of error. I have a very accurate grain scale and this product weighed .11 of an ounce. I would have been happy with .4 of an ounce but .11! Buy from someone else.

The feathers I got are usable for wooly buggers and has good variety. The olive is quite dark as some other reviewers stated. It can be substituted for black. Will have to look for a lighter olive to match the olive marabou

This was, unfortunately, a total waste of money. Very small lot, small feathers of poor quality. I threw them away as they were unusable. I ended up buying some others from another online store. Don’t waste your money.

This product is total garbage. I bought a pink and a white hackle for tying crappie jigs. Opened the pink package and threw it in the trash. Worst hackle I have ever received online. I might be able to get a couple of tips off the white hackle. If there was a rating less than one I would give it to this product. All I can tell you is to save you money and buy from another seller. Junk Junk Junk
