Dometic830463P Optima Tension Rafter System - Slider Assembly

Work well for my 2008 four winds class c chalet. Well constructed but like everything RV pricey. Not difficult to swap out. No special tools required for the rivet installation, just push in on the rivet head with a carpenter hammer while you mushroom the other end with a ballpeen hammer. I all so replaced the star knobs which proved to be a little challenging due to corrosion. Soak the nuts on the inside of the channel with PB blaster a day or so prior.

Item received was the new version not the item shown. Seems to be a perfect replacement however. If your old item looks like the unit pictured in the listing or our old one in my pic from a 2005 version of an A&E Dometic awning. apparently you can use either the one pictured in the listing or the new version interchangably. Fit perfectly to my awning. Never put it on, it's my spare.

Apparently this has the same product number as the photo above it. I wanted the one above it because it was the same as the broken one. I will not know if this one will work until spring time
