Strong and thick
Good quality. Will work so snake can’t bite through unlike the thinner versions. I reccomend these. Fit nice. I’m a medium sized women with medium calves

Save your shin's !!
I ve had many pairs of gaters over the years. Originally bought some for hiking. Then used them when I used my snowblower,which kept snow out of my boots and kept my legs warmer. Now my main purpose for wearing them is while I m using my weedwacker. Snakes can't bite through them,Bees can't sting through them,they protect you from all the debris that hits you and your feet stay cleaner !

Short at foot.
Great at calf, what if aggressive snake bites at lower ankle? Not so good. We had no bites, but felt protected anyway in snake country.

Great protection at an affordable price
These are very durable and not to bulky. The only issue I have so far is keeping the straps to remain snug on my legs. But they are comfortable to wear.

Ich glaub es funktioniert
Hans mir als schlangenschutz gekauft für eine 6 monatige expedition durch den regenwald es ist schon relativ stabil ich glaube es hält einem cobra biss stand kanns aber nicht versprechen und hoffe auch das ich es nicht erfahren werde aufgrund das es so starr ist ist es etwas schwer anzulegen und die verschlüsse haben einen klettverschluss die einen ungeduldigwn, cholerischen menschen woe mich schnell zornig machen.Trotzdem 5 sterne

Great shin protection for me
I'm bought these for whipper snipping and that work fine for that protecting my shins from rocks and the like. I have big calves to some skin is left exposed at the back - so not so good for me for snake protection.
