This coffee maker is programmable and has a 2 hour automatic shut off feature.

Q: Can you use vingear when you clean the coffeepot?

HOT, But would not buy another Mr Coffee! Finally got a great coffee maker - Cuisinart DCC1200 Series (has charcoal water filter too). More expensive, but best coffee maker I ever had!
