TT-600/6 Wheel Tire Monitoring System

Keeping Tires Safe
We installed the monitoring system on our RV prior to driving 12,000 plus miles to Alaska and back, It worked perfectly, I would not drive any distance without this monitor to keep track of our tires inflation and temperature. It is a must have

Problematic, Constant Issues
We like the customer service. Responsive and they return your call.Purchased in fall of 2019 on Amazon, but not installed until summer of 2020. It just is not reliable. We changed rvs and it worked for one trip. After that it does not work more than 30 miles. The sensors are extremely problematic. We are constantly deleting all information and reprograming the system. We change batteries (and test the battery with volt meter prior to install) and it makes no difference whatsoever. We have done all kinds of trouble shooting to get the NOS to not come on with no luck in solving the problem.Sensors are an excellent idea but not if they don’t work. A person purchases a System such as this to be more safe on the road but if it doesn’t work you have no peace of mind. We will have to accept we made a very bad purchase and now we will look for a system that works. Save your money buy a different system. Research, research, research. This is a Tire Trakker TT 500 system, reviews for the TT600 seem to indicate the same sensor problems. Two stars indicates very good customer service. They are always very kind when you call but suggest the same remedy every time. Doesn’t work!

Good Product!
This product worked well for about 2 weeks! Had a problem with one sensor not registering. The batteries that come with the unit are substandard. Order Eveready or Duracel when you order the unit! Also had someone take one of the sensors!

Monitors all six tires on my Winnebago Motorhome. Cheap insurance against costly tire issues.

Improved Features but Poorer Sensor Detection
I upgraded from the TT-400 (which we had for 6+ yes) to the 600. It’s better in that it displays the pressures of the tires before rolling instead of having to check them manually beforehand, because the 400s would not read until about 10 minutes of movement. The display is also brighter and easier to read. However the range of the basic unit is not nearly as good as the 400 which rarely had problems losing sensor contact. The 600 lost signal w/ five out of 10 sensors in the first two hours of the first use. Not even changing batteries helped. The signal booster is not convenient to hook up to any RV DC power source and you cannot tell if it’s working regardless. So overall it’s only slightly better than the 400 maybe.

Fine safety devise to have.
Easy to install and functions on my 26 ft class C RV w/o need of a booster antenna. Nice to have this info available while on the road.

Would NOT buy again!
I would NOT buy these again and could not recommend this system. Purchased 6 tire set in 2014 for 31' gas motorhome. Used successfully for approximately 3 months on a 5 month road trip before I started to get a large number of false alarms, After several unnecessary stops on the shoulders of interstates and other inconvenient places when pressures were fine, I took the sensors off and went back to departure time pressure checks and hand temperature checks at every stop. On arriving home, I mailed the whole set back for test & repairs and got them back in the mail supposedly 'in working order'. First sensor out of the envelope was returned with a broken battery clip ($%##&!). Luckily I had ordered a spare sensor. But, first set up with the 'repaired' units was not successful. I am in my final try at replacing all the batteries before scrapping these guys and starting over with a different company. By the way the Limited warranty is apparently just THAT,...limited. They will "repair" your unit if you mail it back, but based on my experience don't expect any refunds, replacement, or adjustments. These guys have been way more hassle than they're worth.

Lasted about 23 months, not worth the money.
This set was more difficult than average to setup (3rd RV, and worst of 3) because the sensors didn't always send out a signal within a minute. The base won't keep a charge and only charges if the cable is in a very specific position. The last 2 months I've been fighting sensors with "no signal". 3 have quit, and a 4th one continuously sends "80psi", even when the tire is down to 62psi... And today it sends 80 psi when not attached to the tire.Summary...Inaccurate sensors.Weak signals, or just dead sensors.Base unit won't keep a charge.Less than 23 months. It's going in the trash. A waste of $250.Don't waste your money on this one.
