Bought these for my five year old and eleven year old nieces. (Based on other reviews, I seem to be the only person who gives drones to girls, which is sad.) The eleven year old flies it like an expert, which I expected. She knows how to charge it and calibrate it herself. The five year old flies it all crazy, but she has a blast doing it and the drone is holding up. That was a relief. I was worried that five might be too young. It's not!

Out of all the mini drones I have, this is one of the best ones out there. Controls great, not super sensitive like all the others. I got this one because my niece always likes lto play with one of my drones and found myself replacing a lot of propellers.So tried a couple of different cage type drones and they... well let’s just say don’t come out of the box anymore.Here’s a video, if she can control it anyone can.I should buy the Red one to complete this.Only issue is I can’t run this drone with others due to interference issue.Update: 4 Stars now.

I bought two of these for my boys (7 and 10) and they love them. They are one of the easiest drones to fly. I did have slight problem with the power switches on the drones busting off. I contacted Le-Idea and they promptly responded. After sending pictures and a couple e-mails for clarification and details, they sent me two replacement drones. Their support staff was friendly and very helpful. Thanks Le-Idea for a great drone and exceptional service!

My boys love playing this drone toy ,very sturdy and loveable.they fly the drone to the tree directly and there is no damage to the drone ,the outer cage looks like a ball ,it just bounced back .l was surperised at how durable the plastic cage was.Anyway ,l plan to oder another two for my friends ,it is worth a good Christmas gift .

We tried this out and it was terrific. A little awkward getting fingers in the plug to charge the charger connector but it worked great-but my son broke it the first day. If he had not done that, it would a terrific first drone. I might get him another one for holiday. Not bad for a 5 year old. Fun

The cage is a fantastic idea. My 5 year old can fly this drone without breaking the blades. It is a fun drone and it comes with an extra battery which is really nice to have when they drain the battery in 6 min

my grandsons loved this. it took some time to learn how to fly it, we had to watch a video on line. but once we figured it out it was fun.

This is a great flyer, cage works perfectly for this mini quad. The only con I have is if you decide to remove the cage it won't fly properly. It's been tuned for the cage.
