Had two of them: both defective
The first one I ordered was defective. Sometimes it would shut off after only charging for a few minutes. Returned it and ordered another. Same problem with the second one. When it worked, it was great, but I cannot recommend this product as it is not dependable.I am very disappointed as I like the idea of it shutting off when the item is fully charged and it looked like it would be more durable than the official Apple cords.It does not recharge the item if you use it after it is at 100% and still connected as was stated in one of the answers, which is okay with me. I just wish it could be depended on to charge the item fully before shutting off.

Cords don’t keep device charged.
These are great cords, BUT, if you leave them plugged into you device they will not keep the device fully charged. After the device is fully charged the electronics shuts off and does not turn back on. I’ve found my phone charged at 50% after being plugged in all night

Stopped working after just 2 months.
Worked great at first. Seemed like great product, sturdy and well built, but stopped working after just two months. When I checked, the return window has closed and I don’t see a way to contact the seller. I guess I should have taken the advice of those who said it was not a good product.

Shorter product life than expected
In less than six months the cable stopped charging. I tested multiple cable to ensure it wasn’t the plug in or base. Conclusion, I bought two and one went bad in six months other is still operating. Not sure now whether a buy this brand again as six months for product life is short

Stopped working already!
Didn't even last 5 months. Ordered two and they both do not charge anymore. Do not buy!

It does not work with some iPhones. It works with my phone but not my daughters phone and we have the same phone.
