... Face Recon Backpack and it was one of the best purchases I have made this school year
I just recently bought The North Face Recon Backpack and it was one of the best purchases I have made this school year. Since I was buying this for school, the main thing I was looking for was practicality. Although this backpack was on the more expensive side, it has been worth every penny. I have not been able to find any flaws to make me regret my decision and I’ve had it for almost 6 months. My favorite thing about The North Face Recon is the amble number of places to store things. I have a spot for just about everything I need to put in my backpack to get me through the school day. It also fits my 15” MacBook pro, notebooks, and a textbook all at once and does not give my back any grief. This is essential because walking to class with a heavy, non-supportive backpack can really take a toll on your back after some time. In regard to walking to class, it is very durable when it comes to the weather. When it rains, I have never had any issues with my things getting water damaged. Since I bought the backpack in the color black, it hides any wear and tear it might endure.Looking closer at The North Face Recon, some of the minor features that I have grown to appreciate are the zippers, side mesh pockets, front pouch, and the organization offered on the inside. This backpack has very high-quality zippers and I do not see them breaking during its lifetime. In addition, the side pockets do a very nice job of holding my water bottles and coffee cups, they have never once fallen out on me. Furthermore, the front pouch is a great place to out an umbrella or any extra layers you might need or plan to take off during the day. Finally, the internal organization is set up very well for anyone with a very diverse day ahead of them. I have pencils, highlighters, calculators and much more and still have plenty of room to fit more if needed. From just looking at this backpack, it does not seem like you can fit much in it. But in reality, you can fit everything you need to be able to stay on campus all day.Overall, I would highly recommend this backpack for anyone going into college, it has been nothing but great for me!

Best backpack I've ever owned
Best backpack I've ever owned, I use it mainly for school. Very comfortable to wear, fits my 15" laptop snugly, side pockets can fit my 32oz insulated water bottle without an issue and has plenty of pockets for whatever you may need to stuff in this backpack. Price may seem a bit steep but its lasted me well over a year without so much as a small tear on any seam. I can't think of anything negative to say about this backpack, I highly recommend it.

Perfect Backpack
Great pack! It is a little pricier than other bags but is worth the extra cost. Super durable for a hike or a school bag or even a light carry on for the plane.

My favorite North Face bag upgraded!
I had the version before this and honestly I liked the look of that design better but this new one seems to have all the essentials with better internal pockets. I'll always get the Recon just for the front mesh pocket which has been super convenient for times you want to just "Throw it in the bag" and tend to it later.

Long term consistant quality!
Bought a North Face back pack 40 years ago, it finally needed an upgrade. The quality of this new one will last another 40 years. Very happy.

Most durable backpack. I had an older version for 15 years. It was time to retire that bag, and I’m hoping this bag last me another 15 years.
