I bought this hoping that it'd get rid of smell from a dead mouse in my closet. I don't think this is a great value. It's charcoal in a bag. That's it. I went to Walmart and bough a 10 lb bag of charcoal without lighter fluid....about 50x the amount of charcoal for $5. For what it's worth, even a huge bag of charcoal didn't do a whole lot with the dead mouse smell. The only thing that work is a large box of Arm and Hammer cat litter. Just cut the top off and stuck the whole box in the closet. Smell gone by the next day.

I was skeptical but this actually works really nicely. I moved into an old house and the people before didn't clean very well so old kitchen smells were basically embedded into the cupboards. This worked to reduce the smells within a couple days. I've noticed too, if I have bananas in there, it will help absorb the banana smell too! Every now and then I'll take it out and throw it in the sun (often times I'll just close it in between the window and the screen) and it refreshes and sheds any smells that may be in it. I'd highly recommend this, it's a great method of all natural air freshening.

I purchased this for my gym bag. I work out three times a week, and I would say I am a moderately sweaty guy. My gym bag does not always smell the nicest as a result. I purchased this with the intention on helping cut down that gym bag smell.After using this product for 5 months, I can say that I have not noticed any difference between when it is in my gym bag and when I did not have it in my bag.

Have had for a few weeks in a mid-sized walk-in closet and not convinced it really works. Still some minor musty closet smell, but maybe my expectations were too high to begin with?

This odor eliminating bag has worked very well for us. We had a mouse die in our basement wall and the stench was just awful! I found this bag on Amazon and ordered it, with Prime it arrived in 2 days and along with a couple of air fresheners pthe smell was gone in less than 24 hours! I am very happy with the way this works and will keep a couple of them in the basement permanently! Would highly recommend!

My main concern was cigarette smell from neighboring units. I dont smell it much with frequent ventilation and the bag on the window sil and various areas in the unit. Only thing was it was smaller than I thought.

I wanted to take the indoor animal smell out of our house, I bought 2 of these and hung them on our furry friends cages. It took about 2 days but the strong not so nice odors naturally disappeared with this product. Be patient it isn't instant, but does work in a day or 2. Give it time to "soak it in" I will definitely be buying a couple more!
