Works Surprisingly Well!
I had previously bought another fabric shaver by Conair that was more expensive and was disappointed with the results. Still hoping to find something that worked, I decided to purchase this one. Since it was so cheap, I figured I wouldn't be out much money if it turned out to be another disappointment. Luckily, there was no need to worry! Very simple to operate and works like a charm! I have several dressier shirts that I love that were starting to pill up because of how often I'd worn them. I'd thought about getting rid of them but kept putting it off because I liked them so much. This got rid of the pills quickly and easily! Just one pass over the fabric, and my shirt seriously started to look like new again. Pills were gone and no damage to the thin, delicate fabric. One thing I WOULD advise is to only leave the shaver on for 30 seconds or so, then turn it off while you rearrange the fabric to start on a new area. The shaver is small, and I feel like it might overheat if left on for too long. I wouldn't recommend fixing all your pilled clothing at once, although you will definitely be tempted to after you see the difference it makes! (To be clear, my shaver didn't overheat at all, and I had no problems with it. However, it did start to get a little warm after extended use, and I felt overheating COULD have been a problem, so I just decided not to risk it.) One of the best purchases I've made and at an amazing price!

Very happy with this useful little gadget!
This little gadget lived up to the reviews, and overall, I am extremely happy with the purchase. It did a great job on removing the fabric pills from the arms of one of our upholstered living room chairs and its matching ottoman making them go from a little shabby looking to almost new. I gave it four stars for two reasons: 1. figuring out how to open the little compartment to empty the waste took a bit , but once we did, it was a no brainer and 2. we noticed it started to "slow down" even if the waste compartment was empty. At first, we thought it was the batteries and changed them. The fabric shaver still felt like it was "slower" and not as effective. I decided to unscrew the perforated round guard cover that fits over the blade (make sure the shaver is in the "off" position when you do this), and noticed that there was some fuzz that built up around the blade disc, keeping it from spinning freely. It was easy to remove the fuzz and replace the cover and it was back to "full power". Again, now that we know that, it is a no brainer and the fabric shaver is a great little gadget. For the price, it exceeded our expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend this one over the more expensive options.

Best Thing Since Sliced Bread (When Used Right)
Since discovering this tool a decade ago, I've not been without one, and Evercare makes the best of all I've tried. Yes, fabric shavers can wreak havoc on socks, tees & such, but when used with a soft hand, especially till used to each individual shaver-- as several of the exact same model can & do vary--these petit, travel-friendly machines can help keep your clothes looking newer, better, longer. Keeping fresh batteries installed, the lint catcher clean & the head's razors clear make a big difference. I highly recommend complimenting this purchase with a battery charger that holds AA's for this plus AAA's for other items. Additionally, I suggest getting at least two of these so you can keep one in your laundry room, one in your closet & perhaps even a third one in your travel bag or car. These make thoughtful gifts and stocking stuffers, especially for college students; newlyweds, bachelors & bachelorettes moving into their first homes; newly divorced men learning to do their own laundry; and even married or widowed grandparents managing their own chores.

Poorly made fabric shaver, with even poorer service from Sundance Beauty.
The following is an email I sent to Sundance Beauty for a resolution to my problems with this product. Hi. I was so excited when I opened this product and started using it. It de-fuzzed clothes beautifully. With in three minutes though, the button stopped working easily. (I probably break one thing every three years because I'm so careful. This was NOT abused.) After about eleven minutes of use, the button completely ceased to function. I checked for numerous problems, and I think there is probably a loose connection between the button and motor. The second shaver was a Christmas present, and I did not give it on Christmas due to my disappointment with my use history. I figured I may as well have the second one in use, so I gave it to my friend (who is equally careful), on the off chance my problem was a fluke. She used it for a few minutes, and then discovered (as had I) that the on button needed to be played with and prodded in order to keep the motor running. That shaver is regrettably needing to be returned because it's future failure seems assured. Both of us loved the job this product did while running. We didn't even mind that it eat batteries fairly quickly, because it's de-pilling action was superior. I have looked at the ratings for other fabric shavers (battery and electric), and it seems they all suffer from very poor construction - even the more recognizable name brands. (I'm guessing that there are one or two manufacturers, and none of them are making reliable goods in this department.) For this reason, I would love to return this item, and receive a refund. Thank you for your attention to this problem, and I'm looking forward to a happy outcome, since I've been pleased with your service this far. Teir reply: Dear Customer, We have a 30 day return period. Since the order is from November 12, 2015 we will not be able to take it back. Please contact the manufacturer directly to get a replacement. Their information is on the bottom of the package. So sorry for the inconvenience..Sundance Beauty Sorry to say that there is NO satisfaction form buying this item, and none form Sundance Beauty. Perhaps if I had bought this from Amazon directly, there would have been a happier outcome. Dollars to doughnuts, this exact same problem has happened to many others.

Effective, but clogs quickly
Pros: Small and lightweight, which makes it good for getting into tighter fabric spots near seams or underarms. While it occasionally took a few passes to completely clear an area of pills, overall it was able to clear the pills from three differently weighted knit sweaters, and was just as good on a smooth fine knit as it was on the chunkier ones. I found it was pretty easy to open the battery section, the lint tray and the cover over the blades for cleaning. The blade section also pulls off to allow for easier removal of lint. Cons: The blades get clogged up with lint SO FAST. As in, I would literally have to stop every 10-15 seconds to unscrew the blade cover and knock out the lint ball. (If I didnโt, the motor would audibly begin to strain and the blades would slow down.) I tried using this both vertically (sweater hanging against a wall) and horizontally (sweater flat on a table), and it made no difference. Very little lint gets into the lint tray, and just catches instead in the groove around the blades (see pictures for example.) This was true even on the finely knit sweater, so the fabric/pill thickness didnโt seem to matter. This, and the fact that the head surface is fairly small, means it can take a really long time to finish depilling a single garment. Overall: Does a good job removing pulls, but might be a good choice for travel, or small area fixes, instead of for bigger items of clothing.

Surprisingly useful
I wasn't sure what to expect because this unit is so inexpensive, but it works great! It has turned out to be very sturdy and does a wonderful job. The central hole in the screen will sometimes grab a pill and wind it into a cord instead of cutting it off, so it is useful to have a small pair of scissors to cut this cord, and some good tweezers to pull all of the cord out of that central hole. If you don't, it will keep grabbing and spinning those little cords. They will pull a hole in your sweater if you let them wind up too long. That is the only negative that I have run into, and I've used this on several garments. Do be sure to press very lightly against the surface that you are de-pilling, as it is possible, especially with lightweight fabrics, for you to snag a small hole in your garment, but it doesn't take very much pressure to get the job done. A very light stroke, sometimes with multiple passes, is all it takes. I am very pleased with this product, and would gladly recommend it.

Works great!!
This product is inexpensive but it works so well! It shaves off all the pills on sweaters and any fabric without pulling or cutting the fabric. It is easy to empty the compartment and the screw on lid. I've used it for 1 1/2 years and the batteries are still good. Thanks for making a good product!!

One of those things you should have bought years ago
I've had one of these for years. They work great to remove the little balls on your clothes. I just bought another as a gift. This is great to keep your hoodies, polar fleece and sweaters looking like new. Glide it over the surface to cut off the balls, just do not be overzealous and push down on your clothes or it will make a hole. It is easy to clean. Twist off the cap and discard the fuzz.

Depiller!
Excellent little depiller! It is very effective and the blades seem of high quality! Recommended!

Broke within a few uses
As an electric fabric shaver, it holds in your hand well enough, although it is a bit of an awkward grip and sometimes it is hard to remove the cartridge containing the lint and the battery lid cover. However, after less than 10 uses, it became unusable and would not turn on, no matter what batteries we put in it. Your money might be better spent on a higher-quality fabric shaver that will last longer.

Stopped working after 5 minutes....
When it worked, it worked great, it took the lints off our couch, but.... it stopped working after 5 minutes. Getting a refund so I'll be buying something better.
