This is an early review but I wanted to get my thoughts out there... I've unboxed this and quick tested it. The bobber/transducer and the screen unit both have internal rechargeable batteries which is great, A) because you don't have to keep switching batteries, and B) proper sealing against water intrusion over time. Both batteries seemed to be near full charge out of the box. The bobber/transducer and the receiver unit both seem to be well made, hard plastic, good quality. The antennae is thin and seems it will be easy to break but the unit in my testing seemed to stay connected just fine without raising the antennae. I guess it could come in handy at a long distance. The directions are in good English. I first tested this in a little turtle pond that I have and the depth is pretty accurate. I primarily wanted this for depth finding off the side of my john boat, but it did seem to show fish alerts when fish/turtles were in motion below which is cool. I then tossed it out on the lake as far as I could toss it with the rod I had readily available, maybe 50 ft or so, and it stayed connected perfectly. It reads pretty quick and smooth, enough so that you can read the contours of the bottom while reeling at typical speed. So far this seems to be perfect for what I want to use it for. For the price I figured this might be a little risky and there was a strong possibility it could end up being worthless junk, but so far seems quite the opposite and will be a quality handy tool to have.

Ok, so off the bat this is a decent product. But when it dies and needs a charge, the transducer won't charge at all. So you get 1 good uelse then it's complete garbage. I can't return since it's past the window. This will be in the garbage. It's absolute crap. Sadly I can't go lower than 1 star.

I bought this unit with high hopes. It is accurate with depth and temp however it shows sooo much fish it's rediculous. When I used this to fish I caught none. It would always load the screen with fish. I changed the sensitivity to 1 and to 10 still a ton. The unit itself is easy to use, well built and holds a charge for a long period of time but I can't trust it.

Ottimo prodotto,si carica ovunque con gli accessori display ben visibile e intuitivo,non bisogna aspettarsi le prestazioni di fattura professionale ma fa quello che dice acquistato da utilizzare con la mia barchetta.mi sposto e vedo se vi è presenza di pesce. premetto che pesco per passare il tempo e per il mio bisogno va più che bene.

For the price this a good sounder. It gives the depth, water temperature, shows the bottom and fish alert.
