Works well
I bought these for an old piece of furniture, drop down desk. Top is very heavy. These were pretty easy to install. Not the best directions but had measurements on bag in mm. I followed the measurements exactly and it worked! My son has been working at his desk for a couple of weeks doing school work and there have been no issues. Lowers and raises fine and stays perfect at a 90 degree angle when open. Would recommend.

Product is good. Instructions are garbage
Product works as advertised. However the installion instructions are garbage. And the video explanation in the packaging we code doesn't work either.They tell you to install the hardware on the inside of the cabinet first and then to stretch it out and place it on the door.This did not work for me no matter how many different configurations I tried.What did work is measuring 3 1/2 inches on the door hardware first and screwing that in. Then stretching out the piston and screwing it into the interior of the cabinet when fully extended.Overall happy with the product but not the headaches of installation.

Drop down hinges
Ohh ok. Text for the hinges- the hinges work like they are supposed to. You secure them with the provided screws to whatever project you are making. They work great, good value for the money spent.

Did not ship with installation instructions. Works OK. Support strength limited. Compact design.
Didn't ship with any installation instructions, and I couldn't find any on the supplier site. I was able to find a diagram on a non-Amazon site, which worked OK, although the dimensions of the upper fastener were smaller. I was able to create a workable template for the holes. The mounting point for the lower mount is quite close to the hinge (3.15"), so the load capacity may be limited based on how tightly the screws grab the wooden drop leaf. Other designs may provide better support. The initial part of the drop is not smooth, so it will free fall the first few inches before the gas damper kicks in. Adjusting the two hinge mounting points to accurately match the lengths requires some trial and error. Once installed, it works OK and is very compact with very little chance of cabinet contents interfering with the closure.

Seem to be well built. But they are weaker than I needed.

Garbage instructions.
Instructions are garbage. This may very well be the right product for my project, but I have no way of knowing and the instructions don’t help. If you’re s carpenter and know this is what you need and how to use if, great. Everyone else who needs to know where to attach the plates to get the door to open 90 degrees, and close, you’re out of luck. So frustrated that I can’t figure this out. Because of the poor instructions I have no choice but to return.
