Simple item that works well, good value for money.

Absolute rubbish quality. They both fell apart the first time I tried threading a needle.

Basic needle threader - a bit flimsy but easy to use after a few goes.

I ordered this item because I love to knit and sew, but I'm getting old. My eyes are not so good as they were and my hands are stiff. On the positive side, this is very inexpensive - 2 for a few pounds. It's bright and cheerful, so easy to spot in my needlework box. Also, it's more convenient to use than the old school threaders. On the negative side, there are no proper instructions. The series of pictures did not cut it. So - you hold the threader with the metal ring facing down, then poke your needle into the hole in the top, eye first. If you then look at the shaft you can see the eye in the second hole. Squeeze the two parts of the threader together so that a tiny metal hook protrudes from the side of the threader. Hook your thread round that then release your grip. The hook goes back into the threader, through the eye taking your thread with it. If you look on YouTube you can find an instruction, but it wasn't compiled or referred to by the seller, nor the manufacturer. Another negative is that this threader is cheap tat - badly made, and yet more plastic for the environment. This affects its efficiency as well as the environment. For me, the search for a needle threader is still on.

First impressions. A colourful plastic needle threader with metal threader and key-chain ring. A simple but effective design that works. No instructions provided, but easy to workout. Thread a needle once and its easy to repeat. I successfully threaded a needle with a very small 'eye' several times. 1. If you squueze the spring loaded trigger you'll see a tiny metal hook appear near the bottom of the threader. Now you know where the hook is. 2. Hold the threader vertically with the key ring hanging from the bottom and the thread hook hole facing you. 3. Insert needle (with eye facing you) into the hole immediately on top/above the thread hook hole. 4. Squueze the trigger to push the threader barb through the needle eye and out through the plastic. 5. Hook a loop of thread over the tiny metal hook and release the trigger 6. Pull out the threaded needle and cut the required amount of thread. It would have been better if a thread cutter had been included in this design. The price is acceptabke as this gadget is effective.

Arrived quickly. But, very cheap and very flimsy plastic and one broke after just a couple of (unsuccessful) attempts to thread a needle. doesn't really work.

Clever idea, no more squinting

Utter rubbish. Managed to thread the needle once in over 30 attempts. Feels like you need 3 hands to have half a chance. Neither end work well on small needles. I can see big needles! Don't need a needle threader but bought these for smaller ones. Waste of money.

Septique au départ, mais fonctionne vraiment. Fini les longues minutes pour passer le fil. Ne peut pas être utilisé sur des petites aiguilles néanmoins.

Hatte ich bestellt für den Adventskalender. Einen habe ich dann selbst behalten, da er sehr praktisch und leicht zu handhaben ist.
