As I have gotten older, my skin has lost some of its lustre. I have heard good things about incorporating serums into my skincare routine and was looking forward to giving this Vitamin C/Retinol duo a try. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps fight against wrinkles and spots by adding moisture to the skin and helping to retain its natural glow. In addition, Vitamin C serums can help protect the skin from damage caused by sun exposure and other environmental factors. Retinol is another powerful anti-ageing ingredient that can help reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and sun damage. It works by stimulating collagen production, which results in firmer, smoother, wrinkle-free skin. Both Vitamin C serum and Retinol Face Serum are suitable for all skin types and can even be used around the eyes – I have had no skin or eye irritation from either product. I have settled on using the Retinol at night and the Vitamin c serum during the day. The results have been impressive and have far exceeded my expectations. My skin feels better – not as dry and more vibrant, but also a deep frown line I have has definitely improved in appearance! Overall, easy to use and of good quality. I achieved good results for what is a fairly budget product in the world of skincare. 100% recommended.

Nice duo for the skin, I only use every other day as my skin is quite sensitive.. Makes skin feel soft and reduces lines. skin feels healthy.

On opening this is smelt immediately of burnt plastic. So much so that I thought it might have been damaged in a fire or something - eventually it subsided, it was the packaging not the product, but off-putting. The packing itself was very average in design and construction - there wasn't anything to enjoy from opening it, and part of the pleasure from this is feeling that it's a nice product. The instructions weren't in perfect English and it seemed an imitation of a more expensive product. The bottle is a standard serum affair, with a dispenser that doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle which is a real pet hate. On first application it seemed quite thin, and I used more than I would expect to get a sense of coverage, but the smell was still there and it didn't feel particularly nice at first. After 2 weeks usage each night, it did from on me. It's not as sticky as some serums, and as the packaging smell has faded I have appreciated it more, but overall it feels still very ordinary.

When it comes to skincare, vitamin C and retinol are buzz words I'm familiar with; Vitamin C is great for brightening skin & adding moisture, and retinol is a powerful anti-aging ingredient that works at repairing skin cells & shrinking ĺines/wrinkles. I started to see visible results after one week of using serums focused around these ingredients, when my skin was more radiant & slightly more plumped, and the expression lines on my forehead already started shrinking. After a month of using this type of combo (use each serum once ⁷a day, pA quick warning for everyone; Vitamin C skincare products are strong and can begin to dry out skin with heavy use. So only use it once per day - morning use is best. retinol is also a potent ingredient that can dry skin out, if used heavily. Just use this serum in the evenings, underneath a good quality night cream.

Lovely combo of serums. I use Vitamin C Serum in the morning and Retinol Serum in the evening. They Recommend to use 3-5 drops to clean, dry skin on face, and neck. After I’ve used each serum I use my day/ night cream to “seal it in “ I would recommend you use a day cream with a sunscreen too. It can be drying so but I’ve found doing it this way with the odd day off gives good results. My skin feels good. Brighter, and glowing and no break outs. I’ve only used it for a short period of time but it’s part of my routine now and I like it very much. Time will tell on the anti-aging. The dropper is easy to use and makes sure none is wasted. When applied, it sinks right in. It doesn’t leave a greasy layer. It’s much lighter than that. You can use it around your eyes too. Would definitely recommend.
