I bought this cable to see if it would power my Amaran 60X S video lights via D-tap. The cable fit perfectly and powered the units with no issues. The cable feels very well built and bulky.

Good quality and must have for light or monitoring

This is a solid thick cable and seems to be durable. I just tested this on both my Ninja V monitor and video light plugged to a v mount battery and worked perfect. The more expensive version that I own from a different brand/company is thinner and feels cheap and this one is definitely better!

DC Cord end is solid as it "locks." However, the D-Tap fits very loosely and has come off numerous times during use. I would say the nature of how the D-Tap is designed it is more prone to being loose however I purchased a different brand and the fit seems to be more secure.
