Steelworx 45 ACP (Auto) Stainless Steel Snap Cap Training Round

These are perfect for function checking the 1911 that I'm building. add to that I can do everything I need to without having live ammo anywhere near my work bench. Perfect fit, I especially love the rubber primer plug so even "dry fire" I have 0 worries that I'm going to damage anything. I purchased these in 45 acp because I got some of their .357/38spl Snap Caps and I've probably dry fired those over a thousand times and they show almost no wear except for a little spot where I can see where the hammer falls. This is a quality product.

At the time of this review the price was great and worked well to practice clearing stove pipes, jams and other malfunctions. Also great for drawing practice.

Honestly for the money it’s def a good product, has a hard rubberized ( there’s the primer would be) where the firing pin would hit an actual primer. Same identical weight as real bullets. I got 9mm and 45acp. Only problem is with the red tip snap caps the paint comes off easily. I’d rather go with all silver instead. It otherwise very solid product, will buy again for my other calibers!

Good product, but no container as shown in the product data. I received them in a small plastic bag. I wish I had received the container to store them when not in use.

Excellent training gear. Great for Failure to fire drill and safe training. Love it!

Not much to say, they are as advertised.

These fit & function well, and are not easily mistaken for live rounds. The red finish on the “bullet” wears off pretty quickly though. Best feature is the replaceable rubber primer insert. I have found that the brass insert with spring used on more expensive dummy rounds does not hold up well over time and is not replaceable. So these represent better value.

This is the third time I've received an item from them (this was the replacement for a return I purchased). The package was still damaged, but I finally got it with the right amount of snap caps. It is hard to give them more than 3/5 after the other two abysmal experiences I had with this company. With that being said, they work as intended, and function properly.

I have only received 3 of the stated 5. Haven't tried them yet. But they look ok. Glad that they are not painted. Got a different caliber coming today. Hopefully all are there

Good quality snap caps. Metal in design - and pleasant to look at. Only critic - these look a bit too much like actual ammunition- which could be an issue...

Was supposed to be 0.45 acp and they are 9mm not very pleased.
