The phone came in an works as it should and in excellent condition as it should be. No issues at all. Thanks guys! (F.Y.I.) Edit, BE VERY CAREFUL WHO THE SELLER IS WHEN PURCHASING!! The reason say this, is that I bought this phone the first time everything with it was perfect I still have no issues with it at all it functions how it should. So I decide to buy it again for my mom for her birthday. This one I bought from a different seller that had it a little bit cheaper, when I got it I first looked at the phone before giving it to my mom. It had came with a lock on it called a google FRP lock. This lock is on because the tech left there google account login when it was reset. I had to make a decision to refund it or figure it out myself. So with a little research I figured out how to remove it legally. There are programs for removing it, you cannot go to a Repair store because they will over charge or wont do it because the amazon receipt doesn't have your name and Phone MIEI number on it. Use Tenorshare's its the first googled one the others work to but this one is ridiculously easy to do. After that you'll have to pay unfortunately for a registration License for the cheapest is $20 its worth it. This process is worth it better than sending it back and deal with a loss of anyway. Also there are NO repercussions from unlocking the FRP yourself. It will NOT blacklist the phone unless it has been clamed lost or stolen then the phone was already blacklisted(don't let anyone even a repair tech tell you different, they are lying, trust me, I have been lied to by many of them, and found out myself they were wrong) and then amazon WILL compensate you but don't mention unlocking the FRP if you do have to send it back they may not refund you at all even if it was sent to you faulty. I even talked to samsung they are okay with what I'm saying but they told me to mention I'm not telling you to do this just giving a option that nobody tells you. I hope this lonnng review is read and helps anyone that has this FRP lock issue with a refurbished phone. :)

I bought this phone in November 2025. The phone had a software update in the beginning of April 2026, and after that, I had no service. I contacted my service provider, and they did their troubleshooting. They said it was the phone. I contacted Samsung and they did their troubleshooting remotely, and found that Mobile Networks did not appear in the Settings/Connections area. They told me to take it to a local Samsung repair shop. I did that and the shop said it wasn't the phone, it was the network. I contacted my service provider again. They asked me to try the sim card in another phone. I put the sim card in another A53 model phone and the service worked perfectly. My service provider asked me to try resetting the phone to factory settings and try again. They also sent me a new sim card. I did a factory reset and the new sim card still didn't work. It is the phone! The window to return the phone was at the beginning of March 2026, so guess what? I have to eat the cost and get another phone. I am highly dissatisfied with Samsung.

Arrived on time, and it doesn't look like a gently used phone. Clean no scratches and it came with a charger! Took less than 10 min to set it up. I realized when I opened it, I ordered the wrong phone, I was ordering the A35 but think I'll keep this one. I don't do a lot on the phone and this one is lighter which I like. A good buy for the price.

Purchased this phone to replace a Samsung 20 model I accidently broke. I don't need the latest and greatest phone for my personal use. I basically just use the phone services. I prefer not to conduct any online business through my phone. Any online business I conduct, I use my laptop with VPN services. Occasionally, I'll send short videos or texts through the phone but that's about it. Anyway, compared side by side, the video resolution and other qualities seem to be comparable. Being that it is a renewed unit, it is nice to not pay an over-inflated price for a communication device.

After first 3 days finally ready to give a review. I needed to replace my old Samsung A01 and was limited on funds. After many weeks of reviewing and watching Videos I choose this one. After using Smart Switch and transferring the Apps/Data/Photos/Contacts and Settings. I then tweaked a few settings and removing preinstalled Apps I don't need or want and hid a few other things, finally have it the way I want and setup. This is a very nice phone for the Money, everything is better then I was expecting. Taking Photos that are Sharp, The Default Camera app and settings slightly over saturates the Photos but can fix in a Editor. Scrolling is Smooth, Video is nice, Audio is impressive for such a small device especially if you play with the Equalizer. Very Responsive opening apps, Nice Storage Flexibility, Bluetooth works great. To me this is a very solid Device, took less then 3 mins to activate it once i got a new Sim from Verizon, Installed a new Samsung 256gig Memory Card, and its good to go. I also got the Goton for Samsung A53 5G Case, which is perfect for this Phone even has a nice Camera Protector built In it. Very Happy and Highly Recommend this Phone. Only Con is that it does not come with a Quick Guide / or users Manual. No biggie though with the Sites I found to setup everything as i wanted once the Smart Switch was done to tweak it.

Horrible experience! 1. Phone has 1 SIM slot yet described as dual SIM. 2. Welcome screen says T-Mobile! It's supposed to be unlinked to a carrier. 3. It has T-mobile apps and info that I can't remove or disable. 4. Instead of a Samsung box, it was in some generic box written SmartDevice. 5. It has apps that don't typically come w a Samsung. Also turning off requires pushing off and down volume buttons at once, which I've never seen in a Samsung. 6. It came with 0% battery charge, which is v odd, as you'll usually get at least 50%. 7. I'm v upset. Seller is trying to make money by deception. I don't like writing reviews but this one I had to.

The kids are 16 now and you know on them handles recent apps with out problems.

We purchased this phone which worked decently for a few weeks and then started to intermittently have problems. Inability to text, inability to access data etc. It became increasingly unreliable and our service provider has us try different sims but the phone still only worked intermittently. We called Amazon to return the phone under their 90 day warranty. Customer service told us they could not send us a shipping label as it was past 30 days and only the supplier could. We contacted the supplier and were told we could be refunded. We sent back the phone and they put a sim card in and it worked so they shipped it back to us. We now have a worthless phone and had to purchase a new phone which ironically was the same price as the refurbished model, direct from Samsung. The supplier told us the refund would have to come from Amazon and Amazon said it had to come from the supplier. So basically, the stated 90 day warranty is worthless and is only there to offer some false security so you will buy a refurb device from Amazon.
