does this get installed before the fane for after the Fan and how far?

I've installed one before and one after - directly on the fan. I ultimately returned the one before the fan because the improvement was relatively minor.

Can you connect these mufflers in series? And what impact does that have? e.g. one reduces 50% two reduces 75% ... and so forth?

I don’t think they can be used end to end but you can put one on either side of the fan and that should reduce the sound.... or if you’d like you can put one directly against the fan and then add another one at the end of a duct as well. I can’t give you any specific numbers though.

Can I simple insert this silencer (not fan) before my output in my home music studio?

The openings on each side is 4" in diameter. I'm not sure exactly what your affixing this to but if it's similar to any duct opening you'll need a clamp or coupler. Hope this helps!

Will this work on a radon fan system?

i dont know about a radon but ive used a hyperfan and it fits perfect. ive also used one of those cheap vivosun ones with the red fan blades and it is about a quarter inch smaller than the flange on th muffler. it does work well though.

Funktioniert echt Klasse !!! Hätte ich nicht gedacht .ich hatte vorher einen Schallschluckenden Abluftschlauch eine phonicTrap am Gebläse aber dieses Teil hier bringt wirklich nochmal ein Quäntchen mehr Ruhe mit rein .Klaro Bei Stufe 9 10 Wirds Schon Laut aber darunter Wirklich Mega Entspannt .

this is a SUPER SILANCER

I bought a 4 in brushless furance duct booster fan around 4 years ago on amazon runs about 10 percent out of 100 percent. oh the sound well i seen the silancer now i can hear the fridge never before. but 4 years i with the booster fan No water on the back room windows be for they used a 3 ft base boaed heater ? $$$$$$$ the back rm is 10 degrees coller on very cold days and No water bries the snow from the boots after a while. this stuff was free since the hydro IS Very Low with the fon most of the time . LOL and wood cook stove oven is mostly on
