I don’t understand all these negative reviews. Yes the product is made out of plastic and seems “cheap” because it’s not a professional hair styling tool, it’s a kids toy. Is it difficult to use? Well you have to read the instructions thoroughly and if your child can’t figure it out, it’s okay, maybe a few months they will. Does the hair undo itself? Yes, if you don’t semi braid the ends JUST LIKE THE INSTURCTIONS says. I gave this to a 7 year old and she knows how to do it perfectly after an adult explains to her and shows her. I had this when I was a kid and it’s as easy as I remember. Plus I always get presents ey before events to make sure everything has its pieces. If something is missing is the only bad review I can see that’s legitimate but even then, it’s a manufactured defect and you should return it. Overall a really good kids toy that twists hair and decorates.

Absolute piece of junk.First of all, mine does not look anything like the pictures.... it’s missing everything pictured and appears to be second hand.It’s covered in some oily substance, for reasons i can not fathom, and don’t care to think of.Fine. Whatever. I can live with all that.But I use it and you can see how it’s supposed to work but the thread doesn’t come out of the stupid machine. it doesn’t work. It just twists your hair in circles and makes a stupid knot.The idea is decent in concept and you can see how it’s supoosed to go, but the spool doesn’t spin inside the machine and the thread doesn’t unwind and come out, so it just keeps twisting, then it pulls your hair.Wtf?!The braiding works a little better kinda.Basically it’s useless.Don’t waste your money.

I found it a bit difficult to use and beads do not seem to hold much hair. Hair ties were terrible quality. They kept breaking. I ended up using our own. It was entertaining, and I did manage on good braid. You have to be very careful not to over braid or it will look weird. The braid will stick out instead of lay against head.

I like the product. I bought it to wrap hair. It was difficult and kept pulling my hair until I watched a YouTube video on how to use it. It only came with 2 spools of string though and it showed I think 4 extra in the description so I had to buy some embroidery floss. It doesn't say what kind of string to use to replace the string it comes with so I hope it works. Overall I'm happy with the product.

So disappointed. I had a Conair brand one of these when I was young and after searching and searching for a Conair one no luck. So I settled for this. And that was NOT a good idea.I was prepared to take my time and work with it for a little bit to get the hang of it again but it was like the motor wasn’t string enough to spin once you put the string in.

Awesome! I got this for my 9yr old daughter 's birthday and she loved it! The instructions are clear and easy to read, the braids stay and it comes with everything shown including ,beads, the wrapper /braider wand and the wrapper and braider attachments and spools of wrapping thread.However, the hair stickers were not the best quality, other than that the product is awesome!

Not surprising that it's a piece of garbage like most of the over priced "MADE IN CHINA" crap that we Americans get ripped on daily. It works once you spend 2 hours trying to figure it out. The product comes with no instructions and is advertised as though a pre-adolescent girl can take it out of the package and start getting great results immediately! BS! The only info you can find on the internet on how to use it is published by the manufacturer and conveniently leaves out the details of how to use it. If they were to tell you the truth about what a pain it is to use you wouldn't buy it. The fact that it does not come with instructions really pisses me off. Cheap bastards! You will come close or maybe even break the thing trying to remove the spinner head that is for binding hair with colored thread. The ad shows the sales person removing it effortlessly. Uhh.... NO! Very difficult to remove it without breaking it.Your child will not be able to use this without adult assistance. Your money would be more wisely spent on something else.

This product will not braid your hair like a regular braid, but it will twist your hair. And it does take less time. This product does work-great you just need to take the time to figure out how to use it. It's not an instant result. The product is well made the string that comes with it is heavy duty.
