Beginner's Book for the Flute - Part Two

I started playing flute 3 months ago after not playing for 40 years. I purchased both Part One and Part Two of Trevor Wye's practice books. I am through Book One and into Book Two. Lots of good information (I like Trevor Wye's sense of humor that comes out when he mentions things like, "These exercises need to be played every day. Tone practice is not a Sunday pastime"). I would recommend these to anyone who is relearning the flute.

Great book! I love all the songs! This is a great book to practice frequently on. I just have some trouble with the rhythms, but I always get it eventually! :)

I've been learning how to play the flute with my teacher Polly, and Trevor Wye here in Minnesota. I use the first book and it was great even thou I didn't have the CD version. But now with the book and the perfectly sounding CD version I will be able to learn faster and play even more pretty every day.

It was easy to fallow and I liked that it taught melodies fairly quickly. Made it fun to learn.

This is an excellent book for beginning flutists (This is Part Two). I also ordered Part One. Trevor Wye tutorial books are very thorough and informative. These books were shipped promptly and received in perfect condition.

Bought as a follow up to book 1. I learnt to play the flute as school, achieving grade 3. Have not played since, but at 65 have decided to re learn . Book 1 was very clear and I felt ready to progress to book 2

If you are serious about your flute Trevor Wye is a must have! Don’t rush any of it. Take your time! It’s a book for life with techniques that really improve your playing!

I bought this book for a young student and they love it! It has lots of little pieces that are perfect for young students. The book came in perfect condition and delivery was very fast. One happy customer here :-)
