Is this phone internet capable?

It is internet capable, both from the phone itself and as a WiFi hotspot if you want to connect some thing(s) with a larger screen to the internet, like a tablet. It supports multiple WiFi connections but I haven't actually tested that yet. I saw  USB tethering to a PC on the menu but I haven't actually tested that either. I did test it with my tablet and the WiFi hotspot worked. You can check the data usage of your plan by calling #WEB# from the phone. The 4056W battery is small so keep in mind that enabling WiFi hotspot will probably cut phone runtime in half unless you have it plugged into a charger.

If your Tracfon sim card is an T-mobile tower and not Verizon tower so it will work with this phone.

It's a good phone if you only want to make calls and send text messages but that's about it. It has more LTE bands than 4044W so the reception is pretty good vs 4044W. It has KaiOS 3.0, which is a revamped FirefoxOS sitting on top of a very stripped down Android 10 base system that is missing a lot of Android features, like Bluetooth keyboard support. The KaiStore only has ad-ware apps and there is currently no way to develop your own ad-free apps. It's locked down pretty tight. AFAIK no one has rooted it yet. IMHO KaiOS is dead. I read an article from last year that said Google and Facebook pulled funding and apps, so no Google Assistant and no Whatsapp anymore, if it ever had it. ADB is crippled, see bananahackers for a web page to enable it but Recovery menu is useless and currently no chance for TWRP for backups. MTP works and doesn't crash when sending large WAV files like it does on 4044W but Music player is only marginally better than on 4044W. The KaiStore K-Music player works a little bit better, sorts files better and has an EQ, but is ad-ware like all of the very few 3rd party apps. If you want to use a PC gaming headset with MIC/PHONES 2x TRS 3.5mm plugs, you need ASIN B09FQC9KWH to provide the correct 1200 ohm impedance for MIC so the phone can detect that it's a headset, which also works on 4044W. For voice/text only I'm happy with my 4056W but I am disappointed with the rest of it. KaiTech really botched it for 3rd party apps. Maybe TCL and Google will make an Android Go Flip but don't hold your breath. I'd buy one if they did.
