Fleece lining and ears (which are stuffed). Traditional peruvian beanie Style. The knit body is thin and seems delicate-so this is why it is hand wash only. The fit is standard for a small head with lots of hair, all my hair fits and the beanie covers my ears. Nice stretch but I think it is best for medium to small heads. Love the Gir dog suit hat- very cute. Tongue, nose and zipper are nicely sewn down. Fleece lining is exposed around the edges
