Wild Harvest Advanced Nutrition Parrot 8 Pounds, Seed, Grain And Vegetable Mix

My Indian ringneck parraot loved this food. It’s the third time I’ve got it now. Way better than the universal blend. I bought both to compare because I couldn’t tell the difference from the add and the other one is just straight seed. This one has all kinds of peanuts and pellets and other yummy things in it for your bird beside just seed . And much cheaper price than going to the big store. He loves it and this bag will last a few months. This is the four lb I got this time that comes in the container. Wish I’d just got the large ten pound bag again

I’ve been using this mix for quite a while now, and it has quickly become a favorite in my household. The combination of seeds, grains, and vegetables feels wholesome and balanced, and my birds really seem to enjoy it. One of my birds— a beautiful rose-breasted cockatoo named Elvis — absolutely loves this mix. I mean loves, loves, loves it! Watching him get excited at mealtime and happily pick through the mix makes me feel confident in the quality. The pieces are perfectly sized for a variety of birds, and the freshness is great — nothing stale or overly dry. Overall, it’s a nutritious, enjoyable option that both I and my feathered friends are really happy with.

I've been told that certain pellets specially formulated for parrots is the way to go, but unfortunately my Cockatoo won't eat them. I tried mixing them in with this product which she will eat, but she hilariously picks out the pellets and throws them on the floor. Anyway, this product works - my bird eats it, and the price is very good. Regarding the rating feature of flavor - I had to laugh. I mean, how would I know how they taste - I don't eat them, my parrot does! Bottom line is I'm happy to buy this product here - very economical in my judgement. My parrot does eat it, and she is healthy, so given she won't eat the "better"/Healthier products out there, what more can I do or ask for?

This is the only food my parrot will eat. Recommended!

It seems to have too many corn kernels and no large peanuts. Prefer to purchase in store where I can see the mix.

It was full of bugs and when I opened the container the bugs went all over my island. It was so gross that I quickly sprayed the counter with wonder to kill the bugs and threw the bird food away. And unfortunately I didn’t not take a video because I was so grossed out

I think that this Wild Harvest (Advanced Nutrition Diet Parrot Food) has all the Vitamins, Minerals my Indian ringneck lutino parrot needs. For me it's also very important that she likes the taste of her food. She really seems to enjoy the wide variety of different foods she has to choose from. She love the whole peanuts, she seems to have as much fun getting the peanuts out of the shell as she does eating them. Also for a 8 lb bag of parrot food, the price was also very competitive to the pet store bird foods. This why I can shop in the comfort of my home, while having as much selection as I would find in a pet food store. I would purchase this item again. I hope someone finds this helpful, because I know how important it is to make sure our loved birds are having a good tasting food that is also good for them. I think I will stick with this Parrot Food, other than the last brand I purchased. It also was a very good food, it seems my bird does prefer this one over the last purchase I made.
