Horrible
Only gave it 5 stars so the review will be seen, this thing was horrible, started smoking right after I plugged it in, after it stopped I figured it might just be from never having power or something, half way threw the vehicle smoke is pouring out of it, had to finish the rest by hand, returning and do not recommend

Changing heads
The thing seems to have plenty of power for it's size and does what I need okay. Only thing is, changing the screwed on heads is something I can't do. It just spins around. There is no way that I have found to keep it from doing this so I guess it will be useless once the one head wears out unless someone tells me how to do this. Instructions are a thing companies don't believe should be included these days.

Very nice and powerful for the price
Wasn't expecting much but it turned out to be pretty good. Pretty happy with it and my car looks like brand new after this with Mcquire's oxidation compound, polish and wax. Give it a shot.

Works well, so-so value for money, concerned about longevity
I have polished two complete cars with this now, one which I just gave a quick 2 stage cut and polish, the other was far more intensive as the paint was badly faded from the sun. I've put 10+ hours into this polisher so far, and while it works well, there are some things I don't really like much about it.Firstly, I have concerns about how long this tool will last, because it gets REALLY hot with sustained use. Obviously, the handles stay cool, you don't need to worry about burning yourself, but the motor gets CRAZY hot, you can feel the heat coming out of the vents and it feels way too hot in my opinion. Additionally, it smells like the heat is cooking the grease in the bearings, because within a couple of minutes of firing the tool up (regardless of speed), it starts to smell like fish, which is the grease getting hot.The controls are my least favorite thing, because the trigger is very difficult to fully engage so you can lock the speed with the little side button, and it's also too sensitive if you don't lock the speed. You're trying to polish and the speed varies too much with trigger pressure, a few gradients would be better than so many it's impossible to maintain a speed. When you DO lock the speed with the button, if the speed you want is too low, it just won't lock. The motor is also not really very strong, so even light pressure slows the speed down, so finding the speed you want at the pressure you want takes a minute. Adjusting the locked speed with a little wheel on the trigger is just dumb, especially because there is no other way to hold the tool two handed, which you will be doing, so it's easy again to change the speed unintentionally. Now, you do get used to all of this, and the speeds available are plenty for the job. The tool itself functions fine once you get used to its idiosyncracies, and the included pads are useful for their intended purpose. I got through two cars as I said but I toasted all the included polishing pads in the process. They don't seem to take well to cleaning either, so I'll just replace them.In terms of price, honestly the news isn't great. There are a few proper two handed 6 or 7 inch polishers here on Amazon that actually cost less than this one, and if I were spending my own money, I would buy one of those simply for the greater control and better methods of controlling the speed. Since I'm also concerned about whether it will last another car or two before it fails, I'm going to have to recommend trying something else. While the results were good once I figured the tool out, I feel like there are better options available.

Pretty Strong! Easy to hold buffer, NOT EXTREMELY NOISY AND WORKS WELL!
This Electric polisher/ buffer is pretty good! I was using it for furniture and so I found it to be extremely powerful, somewhat silent and rather dust free. I used it INSIDE MY HOME, IN A SMALL AREA and although I found it difficult initially to understand the settings, I did get the hang of them pretty quick! The ultra fast speed, was not great with furniture as the buffer kept kicking back and off the item BUT I did find if you used the very edge of it, it seemed to have better control as opposed to using it flat and dead center on. So you could accelerate at the stronger power/ higher setting but it needs to be used in a certain way so it doesn't kick back and off. THIS IS FOR FURNITURE. I haven't tried it on my car yet but I had a shelf I wanted sanded and thought I'd use the opportunity to try this Buffer. I had a velcro sanding disc that I attached and it sat on the buffer perfectly and did the job perfectly! Given it was late in the evening, I didn't want to disrupt the family but honestly it's a pretty quiet machine considering. It sounded more like the noise level of a vacuum cleaner. It's. a subtle deep sound as opposed to a loud piercing sound. You can easily adjust the buffer kit's variable speeds without stopping, SO be careful. But it does happen effortlessly and flawlessly. Just be careful if you are going from mid-speed setting to high-speed setting. Remember to remove the buffer from the item because it will kick back. Going down in speed did't have this problem, you can continue working without any problems but going up, lift it from the item you are working on. As I switched between lower speeds, It didn't stop buffing or sanding and I was switching between speeds as in order to get familiar with the machine's speed, level of buffing/sanding and to see what worked best for me and my goal which was to sand a shelf. It recommends that you use the Low speed always used for jade and porcelain, medium speed for car and furniture, high speed always used for leather and floor. I indeed was using the medium speed, I found the lower speed much to low for power for my task at hand and the high speed was jerking the machine right off the shelf unless as stated, I used it at an angle and used the edges of it to buff and not the dead centre. So for my situation the medium speed was ideal. Super easy to feel your project's needs out.Overall I am super happy I have this. It is so useful. The power of this little machine is fantastic! It reminds me of a drill, and it's about the size of a drill. Holds fantastic in your hand, I did not even need the handle attached and I found it extremely comfortable. I didn't have a chance to video me working on the shelf but I will update with a small video for your convenience. Conclusion: Excellent little item to add to your woman's tool shed!
