It's a good sparkle.
I love it. I was worried at first it might be full of glitter and get everywhere. Thankfully it's not like that. The pieces have a good amount of sparkle within them, but no external glitter. The board and cards are not actually sparkly at all, but it still has a more fun appearance than the solid colors of classic monopoly. The token colors are in fact randomized, so don't get your hopes up like I did if in the advertisement it displays your favorite token as your favorite color.

Fun game
My daughter loves this game. Had a hard time finding it in stock at my local stores but I found it on Amazon. Should of checked here first.
