This was a great price for the whole bean coffee we normally get from Target with a better price! Love, love this coffee...a little stronger without bitterness!

I've been drinking Pike's Place for the longest time, and enjoy it. The quality is consistent and it's priced reasonably. However, after trying Caribou Coffee (Mahogany blend) at the Denver airport recently, I decided to experiment more. Trying new coffees requires the acceptance of the risk that you'll buy a bag of coffee, not like it, and throw it in the trash (I recently did this with a dark roast). Then there is the joy of finding a coffee that you'll find enjoyable. I think the Caribou blend is that type of coffee. It's balanced (not bitter, has a hint of chocolate), something that you would find as the main medium roast coffee offering of a restaurant or coffee shop. I like it more than the Mahogany blend, and it's smoother than Starbucks Pike Place. It's hard to describe taste, since it's highly subjective, but I do find the coffee enjoyable and would recommend it to others looking for an excellent coffee that isn't expensive.

I enjoyed this whole bean coffee and put it up there with the Illy Classico whole bean coffee. This coffee, though, is more economical. I would definitely buy it again.

I purchased this on Black Friday. Sometimes when there is a great price for coffee, the coffee isn't fresh or flavorful. But this time, I hit the jackpot. Upon opening a bag, the aroma was strong and fresh. When I brewed a cup, it was full of flavor. Even at the non-sale price, Caribou Coffee is definitely worth it.

I'm a coffee snob. After all, life's too short to drink bad coffee. I first drank Caribou on a business trip to Minneapolis in the 90's and I was hooked. It was difficult to find in NJ back then, prior to internet shopping. Peets Coffee now owns Caribou, but it still tastes just as delicious. It's a strong, flavorful blend, very similar in flavor to Starbuck's House Blend. Originally, this was Caribou House Blend prior to the sale. I always use fresh, whole beans in my Breville Grind and Brew. I'm sure this adds to the wonderful experience. This is my go-to coffee of choice.

An excellent coffee. An excellent value. Smaller bags help keep beans fresh.
