Q: Is this hard to wash?

Washed once and had no issues with it.. And I only have one of those portable apartment magic chef washing machine. Just dried on normal air.. That took a little longer than I expected..

Q: Is the blanket loud? I had one that was so loud due to the waterproof technology.

Not at first, although the more you wash it the more it detaches from the other side and then it starts making the crunchy noise when you move it. Although it takes a little while for that to happen. I avoid putting it in the dryer to make it stay together longer, and it’s lasted me a few months before it started making much noise. Not a too bad for a $25-35 blanket

Q: What size to get for a twin bed ?

a twin mattress is generally 38 inches by 74 inches, so I would suggest the 52x80 would be the smallest you'd want to go.. the smaller one would be more of a throw and not cover the complete bed.

Q: What material is this made of?

Waterproof crystal velvet on one side with a waterproof soft plush on the other. The inside contains waterproof TPU fabric which is a thermoplastic polyurethane membrane bonded to a base textile, such as nylon or polyester fabric. The tag reads "100% polyester." It holds up really well and is still soft after repeat washings for over a year.
