In our Early Intervention program, we use this book as a "first resource" for families when there are concerns that their child might have characteristics of autism spectrum disorder. It is written in simple, understandable language and gives parents some much-needed information on what the process might look like for obtaining evaluations, receiving a diagnosis, and receiving treatment. Feedback from our families regarding the usefulness of this book has been very positive.It would be wonderful if it was also available in Spanish and perhaps a few other languages as well!
