This may have a cheap feel to it -- but it appears to be durable enough for normal use (it hasn't broken yet, anyway). The clamp is VERY small/tight -- it barely fits my HTC One 10 (I believe a 5.2" screen). If you have a larger phone, you run the risk of the clamp not fitting -- so you'll want to avoid this! Because of this, it's pretty difficult to clamp in each time I want to use it so I haven't been using this stand a lot. The bluetooth camera button is pretty nice (but also cheap feeling), and honestly it's the only reason this even got 3 stars. They really need to make the clamp capable of accommodating larger phones, and they need to upgrade the materials they use -- otherwise they shouldn't be charging more than $5.99 for this (instead it cost $10.95 when I bought it).

Love this tripod. It is very lightweight, portable and adjustable. The legs can be bent in almost any position, making it possible to mount anywhere you need it. If you have a protector on your phone, you'll most likely need to remove it in order to place the phone safely and securely in the tripod mount. I use this to record live for FB posts for our business. Even if you're not using the camera as a tripod or mounted to anything, the legs squeezed together as one makes for a much more comfortable and stable way to record video. Great unit and price.I take the time to review my purchases because I know I rely on these reviews myself when I make purchases blindly on Amazon. I hope you have found my review helpful.

Great little tripod for your smartphone. Works well with my iPhone 6plus and my husband’s Samsung Galaxy. The materials feel a little cheap/light weight but it seems to work well. The tripod and remote did not come with instructions and so I had trouble figuring out how to connect it to the Bluetooth on my phone. My husband was able to do it easily. Apparently I missed that it needed to be turned on! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣. The remote is so small and all black so it was hard to see that there was a switch on it. I’m not technologically inept - just a tired mom of 3 little ones who could sometimes benefit from instructions lol!

This little tripod is nice to have, I use it to hold my phone when I need to do recording and taking photos. You can shape the leg to how you want the angle to be, and you can even use it in the car while you decide to relax and watch movie, just shape it and hook on to the steering wheel and don't worry about falling.

It's actually not a terrible product for the price. I was tempted to give it 4 stars. Mine, however, arrived without the little white rubber end-cap for one of the legs. Kind of annoying, but it doesn't make the item useless, and I'm not going to send it back over something so minor. Still, I wish they had better quality control, because this flaw is probably going to bug me forever.

Nice little cost effective phone stand for video or photos. I needed a cheap tripod for my iPhone for video and didn't want to spend a ton. This fit the bill. It's not super fancy, nor industrial quality... but what do you expect for the cost? You get what you pay for and this is what I paid for. I'm pleased with it and would recommend it. The remote seems a little cheap and basic, but it does the job.

The Rod top is made of plastic and was damaged would not screw to the base, no good. Poor quality, the only good thing was the small remote control blue tooth.

I would have given this 5 star, but dropped it to one. Initially it worked really well. This morning one of the legs just broke off (a month after purchase). This is very poor quality. The other reason is that it comes with a remote for shooting pictures. This is a cool feature. However, you have to install an app on your phone to do so. I went to load my photos from my phone to computer and ended up downloading about a hundred headshots of people I didn't recognize. It made me feel like I was loading a virus onto my phone and computer. I would not buy this again.
