Will this work for #22 MGS?

It should because the size is standardized and most #22 parts are interchangeable. The only issue could be with the key on the top of the hopper. Since this plate has a slot in it for a key/tab, it should work.

What is the inside hole diameter? I see reviews saying it is too small.

I bought mine for my #22 grinder & it doesn't fit. Don't know the hole diameter but its too small. Never encountered this issue buying parts for a proper number grinder before.

What do I do to make this fit my #22 grinder? It is just barely too big around. Anyone else have this problem or a solution?

You may have the MTN meat grinder which makes their cylinder slightly smaller than standard. Contact your seller and see if they have one slightly smaller.
