We purchased the Hiboy DK1 electric dirt bike for our son, and it has exceeded all expectations. The quality and performance are outstanding — it’s sturdy, reliable, and perfectly sized for kids. This has been the best gift for my son (9 years old). It’s his first dirt bike, and he rides it all the time. We live in a subdivision, so it runs well on blacktop roads and sidewalks. We take on our hilly 1.5-2 miles walks and the battery lasts! We’ve been charging it once a week. It is safe and has multiple speed levels for each kids’ comfort. It is not loud like some toy cars we’ve had. I expect him to enjoy it for a couple of years! The first day he rode it, he did fall and the chain guard broke off. Customer service was top notch! They responded within 24 hours (on Christmas!) and we had a new part within a week. 100% recommend!!

Our granddaughter loves this thing. Long battery life and rides good. Only thing I wish was different was the speed control switch. I wish it required a removable key to select the speed. You might set it low but your kid will flip it to fast as soon as they get around the corner.

Decent price. Great quality. Long lasting battery I do regret buying it for my 6 year old I think she could have gone up a size but it was a good starter bike.

This was the BEST purchase we have made so far! I had been doing loads of research for a good electric bike for my sons 5th birthday that wasn't over $400. And this one stood out the most in so many ways, from battery life, charge time, speed and good reviews/most purchased. It is well built, smooth ride, good battery life, and my son LOVES it. There are three speed settings, slow, medium and fast. Its not too fast only 15.5 mph at top speed. My wants it to be faster but im happy with the speeds. He is only 5 and doesn't need to go faster until hes more comfortable. Thia is a great first electric bike for your kids. I HIGHLY recommend this one over other brands, its the best bang for your buck especially on a budget.

I have waited 3 months to write this review due to the nature of the product. My 8 year old son rides this every single day for at least an hour. He is so in love with this electric dirt bike. We got this for his birthday and it is the best money I have ever spent. Setup: there is none. Product comes fully assembled, just charge it up First use: EAAAAAASSSSY on the throttle! Hold your kids hand as you hover over them and slowly turn the throttle so that they feel what they’re getting into. My dude sat on the bike and ZOOOOOM (scared all of us for a sec, then he was incensed)! I wish I had better prepared him. The speeds listed on the product page are truly the speed that the bike travels. The light is extremely bright, actually illuminating a path in the dark. The horn is loud enough to be heard from inside the house. He has not fallen from this bike even one time. He falls from his pedaled bike as much as any other kid. We started on low speed, immediately switched to mid and within 2 days he was riding on high speed with ease. He wears a Razor brand motorcycle helmet. No previous experience with e-bikes or dirt bikes. He gets at least an hour and a half of use out of it at a time riding at top speed and rarely stopping. I am so impressed with the battery life. We had to replace the back tire because my son was braking too hard which caused the rubber to wear over time. I easily found the assembled replacement for $40 on their Hiboy website and switched it out with ease! Last year, he asked for a go kart for Christmas and the price was very close to the price of this bike. That karts battery wore down within a month and just collects dust now. This is the reason that I have waited to review this product. If the go kart is yin, this dirt bike is yang. He has made new friends in the neighborhood just being outside so much over the summer months when it would have been too hot to pedal his manual bike around the block. If you’re comparing several e-bikes and ruminating on reviews, this is your sign to go for it!

Great electric bike and customer service. We purchased this for our 9 year old son for Christmas. Only assembly needed was the handlebars so was very fast and easy. Battery was fully charged, the tires needed a little air. Son loves it and rides it every day. Unfortunately, he and another boy crashed into each other and the front fender broke off. Both kids are just fine. I sent an email to Hiboy customer service (on a Sunday) and Cindy got back to me that day! She requested some purchase and series number details and is sending me a new fender under warranty. Mom/Dad/Son all extremely happy with this electric dirt bike for sure!!!

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son, packaging was great and undamaged, all tools included and assembly was great. It's a nice looking bike that my son enjoyed riding. We had him riding it around our yard and unfortunately he ran over a small stick, less than finger size and it became wedged by the chain in the plastic flywheel causing it to break. Pretty disappointing that something that small would break the flywheel and I wondered maybe if it wasn't a freak accident. They do sell replacement flywheels on their website with what shows all the tools needed so I ordered it and when it arrived it was missing the socket that you need to pull the flywheel. Trying to get anywhere with their customer service is a bust, tried emailing with no response. Chatted and was told to email them and when I said I had with no response was then told that no tools were supplied with the replacement and that I should have everything from the original purchase to fix it, which is not the case. I've finally resigned to paying ANOTHER $50 to replace the entire rear wheel assembly. Cool bike, questionable quality and poor service, will make me probably hesitate purchasing another of their products.
