I got this for my office which has marled glass and stained glass windows. I can barely tell night vs day when I’m in there. But other than tiny baby print instructions, it was easy to set up the chimes on the hour to help me tell the passing of time. I love that there are 3 alarms so I can set a lunch, a mid-afternoon, and an end of day alarm.

Best clock ever. My mother in law is almost blind and loves it because at the push of a button someone tells her the correct time and temperature in her room!!!!!! Loves it. Have now ordered 2 more for her friends.

My father is blind and the reason why I purchased this clock a MONTH ago was because it told time. My father alerted me today that it stopped telling time. I switched out batteries and of course, I can’t return it so Anyway, don’t purchase, it’s cheap garbage. Zero stars, do not recommend.

Was looking to replace a 22 year old RadioShack talking alarm clock and this one was the most cost effective and feature rich option I came across. The top button to activate the vocalized time is HYPER sensitive, which is nice if you are flailing around in the dark and can only manage to graze the button. It will, however, annoy the living **** out of you while you are setting it and you keep accidentally touching it. Not really a downside, just thought I'd warn a potential owner over the 1 nanogram sensitivity of the button.

This clock has many great features BUT may not be for a blind person. 1st problem is that a blind may be confused as to which alarm time is being changed (you can have up to 3 different alarm times set but only 1 active). 2nd problem is there is a large touch surface on the top not a touch button to hear the time and temp. A blind person usually will grab the clock on the top to feel where it is or to hold it o set the alarm thus setting the voice off multipe times.

Helps him keep time when he needs to eat and take his meds. Great product

I am very frustrated because the item did not come with instuctions for switching from centigrade to farenhide mode. in the temperature area. product details do not show how to switch this mode. I need help or I will return the talking clock.

hourly chime would work acceptably for me if there were a volume control.

The concept is great but the major flaw is the you cannot adjust the volume.

Waste of time

For my elderly friend who is visually impaired and hard of hearing she found the electronic voice which seem to have an oriental accent impossible to understand. For her this clock did not work
