I LOVE this thing! I got it in a box of stuff from a friend who was moving. I had to get the refills for it (and the fuel cartridges don’t last very long) but I use it every night on our outdoor table for dinner (which is a plus since to eat inside would mean clearing off the cluttered disaster that is our kitchen table). I get this thing going about 10 minutes before we’re ready to head out and it has cleared the mosquitos and many if not all of the black flies from the vicinity! We also have been using it camping as well, setting it near the tent entrance before turning in for the night or even in the tent when setting up. It works great! I highly recommend. But be sure to give it a good 10 minutes to warm up before it’s at its full potential.

Best value for refills. These work even in the swamps of Florida. I know when its time to replace a pad because i can hear the mosquitos getting closer again. If you dont want to spray chemicals on your skin and clothes, these are highly effective and have almost no odor.

We have been using the Termacell repellants for years. They work great. Many think they are gimmicky at first until they try them. Purchased this before I realized they actually make a rechargable one now so no more fuel. Only the repellant pads. Regardless these last a long time and they just work.

My 14 yr old son and I are like mosquito magnets! Even with spraying and spreading pellets around the pool we were getting bit sitting near the pool and even our faces while we were swimming! I put the thermacell on our patio table or our pool deck and it's worked great! I'd say the range is closer to 12 feet rather thsn 15 and we still saw the occasional mosquito hovering, but this definitely made sitting outside in the evening much nicer! The canisters last pretty long if you use them daily for 3 hours or less. Will definitely buy again.
