Not Helpful for me to keep running pregnant.
I purchased this belt to continue running during my pregnancy - unfortunately I did not find this belt to be helpful for that purpose. For sizing, I was a size 6 pre-pregnancy. I originally ordered the medium and it just fit at 30 weeks pregnant (I have gained about 20 lbs). I reordered and got the large, and it was a better fit, but still did not work. What I have used thus far into pregnancy is the Bao Bei Maternity Sport band and I would recommend that for anyone looking to keep running while pregnant - I actually found it to me more supportive.

Fit-Pregnancy Game Changer
I'm currently in my 28th week and have had this since ~19 weeks pregnant. At first, I wasn't really sure I was wearing it right .. if it was helping at all or not with my lower back pain, and it was really uncomfortable to wear as I was constantly adjusting it & moving it back down into place. At about 25 weeks, I finally 'popped' and the fit was much better. I also didn't realize just how incredibly this was helping with running until I forgot it for a 10k run around that same 25 week mark. OMG that was rough. I'm still running strong and this belt is a must as I continue to run for as long as I can throughout the remainder of this pregnancy. **One downside, the velcro really pills up and snags clothing. I have to be really careful about placement of the tension straps and have to keep an eye out for it catching on things.

Very helpful - go smaller if pear shaped
I am 25 weeks and a pear shape. For the past couple weeks, I struggled to walk for long distances due to ligament pain. I am carrying low due to a short waist, so baby is causing lots of bathroom trips too.Put the band on and instantly felt relief on the ligaments and bladder. Took a moment to figure out how to position properly, and I recommend if you are in between sizes or a pear shape go smaller. I bought a large, but I measure 42" which is the bottom of the XL. The XL would not have provided support like the large. Also, due to a short waist, the 6" panel is a bit uncomfortable in the back, but the relief I feel is worth the mild discomfort. Bonus - pants with a belly band now stay up instead of falling off.

Useless for running during pregnancy
I bought this product to wear while running throughout my pregnancy with hopes it would help my belly feel less heavy, but it did absolutely nothing. It kept riding up over my belly during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, and when my belly got super huge toward the end of my 3rd trimester, it did nothing in terms of providing relief or helping me feel more comfortable. I'm not super thin either — I'm all hips and thighs, so I was frustrated when it kept riding up to around my waist during my runs. Prior to becoming pregnant, I was a size 8-10 in pants. I purchased the large-sized belt and tightened it as best I could to prevent it from riding up, but it didn't work. I couldn't imagine using a smaller belt size because these belts run small. I'm glad this belt works for many other women, but I'm planning on reselling it because I didn't end up using it at all.

Helpful
I am a woman who had back problems even pre-pregnancy. Although I lead a pretty active lifestyle I have a disc protrusion in my spine. So when I stand/walk for longer periods of time my back will hurt and during the cold winter months the pain is much more persistent. Add pregnant to the equation and you can imagine my back can get rather uncomfortable a lot. The back braces that I used to wear no longer fit over the baby bump and so I looked for alternatives. This belt definitely does alleviate some of the pain. However, I wish the area that received the most compression could somehow be enlarged. I feel that if it were to cover more of the upper portion of my lower back I would be able to receive even more pain relief. Do note that this belt even if you choose to wear it more loosely is noticeable under form fitting clothing and can be uncomfortable if worn while sitting down.
