While the ribbon cable is a 4 wire cable, the connectors are apparently for a wider type of cable. Using the connectors resulted in no connect to one of the wires and spotty contact with another wire. Also they plastic locking tabs are poorly made and break very easily. Clearly these are not the correct connectors for this type of wire.Save yourself some money and just buy a spool of 10m RGB Extension Cable Line and solder the wires yourself.UPDATE: The seller contacted me and offer to send out a replacement. I tried the replacement set and found the same problem with the connectors. Sometimes they worked, but sometimes they didn't. I've updated my rating to 3 stars based on their customer service.

Wire is fine. However the connectors certainly do not work very well. The part of the connector that attaches to the wire is not the issue. The problem lies where the connector attaches to the tape. The way this part works is by the pins in the connector punching through the bottom side of the tape in order to make a connection to the copper on the top of the tape. Even with the sticky back removed the pins making contact with the copper is very hit or miss. I found the only way I can get a solid connection is to remove the silicon top of the tape and placing it on the bottom of the tape and install the tape upside down in the clip. I found that this gave me a solid connection each time with out failure. This method certainly negates the waterproof aspect at the connector, but is works.

Pieces of crap! The one star is for the wire. The connectors get zero stars! One connector broke within about after trying to open it after accidentally closing the clasp before the wire was inserted. And they are a pain in the ### to open once they are closed.Never got a solid connection. Don't waste your money.

The connectors do not adequately hold the LED ribbon side which slide right out altogether. If held in place, the terminals in the connector do not contact all of the contacts on the ribbon resulting in flickering LED lights or the wrong color.

Although the concept and system for thee connectors appears great, in practice they are not. Nothing wrong with the cable itself, but the connectors leave a great deal to be desired. On the cable side of things nothing of concern, yet not he LED side, terrible. Making good contact is difficult at best and they easily break ( i've three that are throw aways.

Connecting the wires supplied was very ready and straight forward. Connecting LED strips to the extension is about impossible. Any slight movement of the strip and it falls out. Be nice if they had connections like corner connectors or short extension.

Junk connectors, could not get a proper connection with 3 out of 4 supplied.
