After adopting a 2-month-old puppy, we were in desperate need of a gate to block off our kitchen to keep him in there when we need a moment to ourselves. This gate was very easy to install and is super sturdy. We also picked it because it doesn't screw into the wall and cause damage like most baby gates do. It functions well, looks nice and has been a life-saver for us during puppyhood. Highly recommend!

There easy to put together. I really like this gate. It’s definitely a good quality very safe for the baby. The only thing I didn’t like is the price is very expensive. I wanted to buy more, but the price was just too much.

The instructions were not helpful. There are sticker brackets that are choking hazards and I’m not sure what is to be done with them. The gate length is not very versitile and barely fits the 95.25” opening. If I take out one of the segments the gate will be too short, but the tension pins are almost screwed in all the way. Unfortunately once the pins are screwed in all the way, they cannot be unscrewed (BEWARE) as a result, I had to use the pin from another gate to get the pressure to work. The other adjustment I made was to put BOTH ramps under the gate segment joints for added stability and it works! Over all, with the adjustments and replacement of a part, this gate is amazingly stable for such a wide opening! The mechanism to open and close the gate is easy to use, works very well and does not require too much finger or thumb strength.

With it being six feet long, I was concerned if it would be strong enough to contain our sheltie pup in the family room. I am pleased that it is not only strong enough but it is very secure without mounting it to the door casing! The gate is a bonus because it's easy to open, it latches on its own, and it opens both ways. This is definitely worth the money.

Security flaws. (1) The gate can be easily opened by any toddler or dog, the handle is so big and easy to push! (2) The gate doesn’t securely latch. (3) The “bolts” don’t screw into the gate or the wall, they are inserted into the gate ends, so if there is any wiggle room and one corner becomes dislodged, the bolt just falls out creating an open space AND a choking hazard!!! The bolt is coated in some plastic or maybe acrylic or rubber but wouldn’t fit right to my walls without slipping. Details. The gate says it is for 57-62”. My space is 60”. I added the thickest wall cups I could find to buy (NOT included) to try to add space and tighten the fit and to secure the fat end of the bolt to try to prevent slipping off of wall. Couldn’t get the gate latch to catch by more than a hair; so it would probably just pop open if any pressure was applied. As such, I left the shipping zip tie on and added one of my own so that the gate can’t be opened at all now. IF I added wood blocks to shorten my space even more and got the gate to catch better, it would look terrible and the cheap big simple handle would not survive a child’s grasp or dog’s bite or jump - the tiniest bit of pressure would pop the gate wide open! I’m maybe keeping it because I’m just so very tired to return and shop again — it’s temporary until a real door can be installed in a few weeks but it is zip tied closed and will never ever be able to stand without the zip ties or some other homemade solution to keep the gate shut. Do NOT recommend. NOT secure. Very dangerous.

Well made, looks nice. Keeps dog out of formal rooms. Bought 1 then bought 2 more.
