Yamako Pokkan a Japanese Tea Tin Canister, Air Tight, Double Lid, 200g Tea Capacity (Ichimatsu - Japanese Checkered Pattern, L - 200g)

This was exactly what I was looking for. I read some reviews that it came dented, but mine was in perfect condition when it arrived.

Looks great in my kitchen. The extra seal inside is great for keeping matcha fresh. I love how luxe it looks in my kitchen and makes me look forward to my daily matcha!

Does what it’s supposed to. Small, relatively narrow (cupboard space-wise), air tight container for tea.

Great tea tin. Was exactly as expected - good quality. The inner lid was plastic on mine (which I'm fine with) and fit tightly just like the outer lid. The papers pattern "lines up" between the lid and base when you line up the seam on both, a detail I appreciate.I wish more variety of patterns were available. I always appreciate the Japanese eye toward nature inspired repeating patterns and a tasteful color pallet.

The knob on the lid keeps popping off. Maybe this would be fine for something you don't need to access very often, but I used it for a tea that I drink daily, so that might have been too much wear on it.

Love these so much! Beautiful and functional and air tight

This canister is beautiful! It has a papery outside texture with beautiful metallic ink print. Inside is metal with a second air tight lid on the inside that keeps the tea so fresh. I bought this one because I have a very tiny one I got from a genmaicha tea gift sent from Japan directly! This is exactly the same but the bigger size that I wanted!

本気で上等な茶筒を探しているなら1000円前後なんてありえません。この価格だからこそある程度のチープさは受け入れるべきです。そして、受け入れてしまえばとても良い商品です。もう少し密閉度が欲しいなとは思いますが、普段使いとしては上々。特に不満もなく、見た目もまあまあなので気に入っています。

普通の茶筒です。見栄えが良いので、購入しました。
