Have been using Laura Geller products for many years. Such good quality and good for the skin. I use balance & brighten down the centre of my face and then balance and glow either side. Just love it! Product arrived quickly and well protected. Product lasts for ages.

Great coverage quick & easy to use. need to reapply after a couple of hours. looks ok although fair is still too dark for winter time on light skin Fitzpatrick 3

Lovely and smooth going on, compliments your skin tone and not caky like some others. You don't need a lot either and it doesn't settle in the creases. Long lasting too which I feel is great because I hate topping up on a night out! perfect for a nice glow in these winter days!

Hmmm I had high hopes for this product given all the hype and the publicity. I ordered it in "fair" shade which is ok for my skin tone. However it doesn't cover well. I seem to use a huge amount for little effect. It's quite powdery and it's messy to use. The pachaging is nice and the service was good. I won't be buying it again.

I bought this to replace a nearly empty very old compact of Laura Geller foundation. It was larger (probably supersized) and I loved it. But that was discontinued so I took a chance on this. My previous was colour correcting matte ... this one is colour correcting illuminating and when I opened, was much lighter in the compact than my previous one, which although also called LIGHT, was a darker medium colour (all marbled though). But I knew I could send it back if it didn't suit and this one is perfectly acceptable to me, going into Autumn/Winter when I'm slightly paler anyway. Nice texture, a hint of glitter which I guess is he illuminating factor. Arrived in tact (no cracks or powder explosions when I opened it). I tend to wear with or without primer depending on how much of a hurry I'm in. It doesn't sit in my large pores ... and it's very easy to start off with minimum for a natual no make up look ... and to build up more for a more refined finish. I also tend to use a straight brush if I want to use the lighter parts of the marble as a highlighter .... or the darker parts as a bronzer. Saves me having to use multiple products.

The first 7 times I used this I absolutely loved it. It gave me a very natural look even when I added extra layers. I thought it was probably the perfect powder foundation. Until....one day when I applied it, my face became an immediate incredibly shiny mess. There was no fixing it. I obviously hit an area of the powder compact that was concentrated with the "glow" particles. I had to use a face wipe and then use a different powder foundation. I still used this one on top of it on my cheekbones and nose. So I basically am using it as a highlighter until I get past the part that is too glowy and can use it as a foundation again. So my feelings are mixed. I loved it until I found it unusable as a foundation. Which is what I bought it for. However I just ordered the Gellar baked matte powder foundation because I know that one will not be too shiny. It's possible I got the one compact that had too much sparkle concentrated into it in certain areas. This may not happen to everyone. So I still recommend it, but be aware that it can suddenly turn from a perfect diffuse glowy to very shiny on you if you hit a sparkle pocket in the compact.

I dont wear regular make-up but have had positive comments when using this. It blends to my skin tone and gives a lovely finish. Easy to apply and looks cool. A bit expensive though, but since I dont use it daily I expect it to last a long time.

I wear a very light foundation then put the Laura Gellar Balance n Glow Illuminating foundation over the top to give a beautiful light from within. It is very a suttle glow , which looks beautiful. Doesn't settle into fine lines and wrinkles and is buildable. I get a deeper shade to put all over my large forhead.

Ever since I got this in my ipsy bag about 6mos ago I've been in love!! I threw out all my liquid foundation, my pressed powder etc...this powder foundation is amazing! It literally is just like brushing on a 2nd layer of skin. It's not cakey like foundation n it's not powdery looking like powder, it's the perfect balance of buildable coverage, if u have certain things u want covered then trust me this will do it but if u just want a natural "better" version of ur own skin then this is THAT! I can't even explain how it does it but it goes on so easy with a makeup brush n is matte enough to look like actual skin but also has this kind of highlight in it to where it looks like real skin as well. Everybody knows that nobody has skin that is 100% matte naturally cuz we have pores n we naturally will glow in certain areas etc..AND everybody knows that nobody has naturally super luminous skin where your just shiny everywhere all the time so if u dnt have time for instance one morning, to do ur highlight...ur all good w this compact alone! U will still look NATURALLY glowing! Me, myself love a strong highlight so I always do a bit of contour n then a snatched highlight above my cheekbones, my cupids bow above my lip, n down the center line of my nose n then use left over on brush to swipe along my temples, arch of eyebrows n top of forehead but I have woken up late 4 wrk sum mornings n took my 2mins to brush on a light layer of this n been extremely happy walking out the door cuz I looked like I just woke up n left but BETTER! nobody could tell I had ANY makeup on, just super healthy, good, skin that had a natural glow. Or 4 the days u dnt want 2b "done up" n dnt feel like doing a full makeup face...just using this compact, shaping ur brows, a lil mascara n sum tinted lip balm n u will look amazing. I swear I will praise n preach about this product FOREVER n TO whoever will listen bcuz its THAT damn good! Just pick the shade that's as close to ur skin color as possible n ur good to go! Btw, that's another thing about it...it magically finds a way to match ur real skin color even if u dnt get the exact color u needed! Of course if ur like a fair/light and u buy a deep tan u already no thats NOT going to happen on any level(or any planet lol) but if ur just a shade or 2 off it will work itself out. It never looks fake, it's so natural that's y I love it as well cuz I tan alot n there's been times I stop tanning for a month or so n I was able to still use the same compact after I had faded ALOT n it never looked bad, it somehow blended itself n I used a big fluffy brush to brush some down my neck a bit(which I do everyday anyway) n it never looked like I had a dark face n light skin at all! It looked like at most, I had a lil bronzer on or had a tad bit of sun on my face but blended seamlessly in with the rest of my body. So anyways yeah!! This product is life!! I also use other laura Gellar products now like her lip scrub lipstick which is all natural n wrks beautifully in getting old dead skin cells n anything else off ur lips b4 u apply ur lip product of choice n ur lips look 100 times better! But yea Laura Gellar baked balance powder foundation ALL THE WAY! I promise u will get rid of all other face products u thought u needed b4!! (Aside from ur blush/bronzer and highlighter if u use those things)
