Does its job. My only complaint, is it doesnt come with the hardware to install it or even suggestion on what to use! I ended up using 1/4 × 1 5/8 lag screws which is what I had on me. Could use a little bit bigger if that's what you already have! Needs at least a 2 inch clearance to be effective.

The latch is exactly what I needed and what was described in the listing. Just one note that it does not come with mounting hardware since they don't know what you will be mounting it to, you will need to provide whatever screws are required.

I was really looking forward to receiving this item as I need a latch for my chain link gate. The item pictured is exactly what I need as there is one hole at the top and one hole at the bottom. The item that was sent has 2 holes at the top and one at the bottom, so I cannot use the item since the holes are from the previous latch. It's a shame that the picture was so misleading. Very disappointed.

This product is fantastic! Met my needs perfectly and then some! Very robust and easy to install. It 'fixed' the problem of having double gates that are set a bit further apart than we intended. It makes getting in and out of the gate so much easier than other types of fastening solutions (like a chain and carabiner). Keeps the gates closed tightly enough to keep my very independent and curious German shepherd puppy from escaping (which was the entire purpose of installing a fence and this gate.) Great product and am considering a second one for another large double gate that I have. I would highly recommend this product!

It's exactly what we needed to keep our dogs in. Our gate is under a covered area so it's not getting weathered but so far it's holding up after a month. You will need to purchase a lock if you want to secure the latch from opening but we haven't had a problem with it accidentally opening. You will also need to purchase the screws for you to be able to attach it wherever. Was not damaged upon arrival.

I went to Home depot, but they didn`t carry anything like this. I like that they packed directions and what size Lag screws to get . John 3:16 was a bonus included !

It works for my purpose. Kind of pricey for what it's purpose. Doesn't come with suggested "Lag Bolts" to mount.

Good gate latch that came in as promised.
