There’s not a lot of options out there for smart coffee makers but this one isn’t bad, we use it with google although it’s only on or off, if it fails or you forgot to clean it and add water/coffee then there’s no way to have it send that info to Google home! Just when it’s on or off! My setup is it makes us our coffee in the morning when our alarm goes off, then I have it tell me when it’s done by announcing when it turns off as that is the only available way to do it so if it fails then is still will say the same thing 🤷🏻♂️

This coffee machine is US voltage only & should not be advertised on the UK site.

Our last two name brand coffee makers died an early death. One after a year and the other after only 6 months. So this time, I decided to go in a different direction. This time, I wanted to try a "smart" coffee maker since most of my home is now smart controlled via Alexa. Don't know how much "real" utility I would get from a smart coffee maker, but, what the hey, let's give it a shot. Did some online research and decided on the Atomi since they have so many other smart devices. Coffee maker came well packaged in a sturdy box and the Atomi box had the maker very well packaged and protected. Opened the Atomi box and the instruction manual was taped to the box lid. Nice touch as you didn't have to go digging to find it. The manual was very easy to follow. The first few steps are to download their app and register. Next simply plug in the coffee maker and wait for the connection. It all took about 6 or 7 minutes. I then went to the Alexa app, found the coffee maker and set it up. The first use was what I normally do with any new maker, I wash the removable bits and then run a 50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar. Ran a second time with just pure water. Finally, time to run a real pot. Ground up some beans, poured in fresh water, set the "Bold" setting and turned it on. Nothing. Wouldn't turn on. Alexa, turn on coffee maker! Ok. Nothing. Went to the app and it says the carafe isn't on. Sure enough, it was on, but not all the way. Adjusted carafe and app gave the all go. Alexa, turn on coffee maker. Ok. Comes on and brews a good pot of coffee. That carafe sensor is a great feature. My last coffee maker didn't have that and one morning, I didn't have the carafe perfectly in the base, turned on the maker, walked away and when I came back, coffee was everywhere. Some made it in the pot. Most off it was on the floor and all over the cabinet. Won't have this problem with this maker. Advantages of a smart coffee maker? One, is it is connected to WIFI so it automatically sets the clock. The App gives you a status of the device and alerts you when the coffee is ready. You can set schedules easily via their app, or in my case Alexa. Every weekday at 5:45am it starts. Holidays and weekends I can preset the maker and when I am ready, when wife wakes up, and can say Alexa, start coffee maker. Ok. This Atomi maker appears to be well made and the digital display is very nice and touch sensitive. It is easy to operate even if you don't use Alexa. Their App is pretty good and supports their other devices. The only very minor complaint so far is I wish the coffee was just a few degrees hotter. This is just a personal preference. I have only had this about a week now so I can't attest to it long term use. But, so far, I really like this coffee maker. Update 2025-07-02; The other day, my Atomi coffee maker started having a display problem. It got very dim to the point where you could barely read it. I thought maybe it was a display setting so looked on the maker and in the app. Couldn't find anything, so I contacted the Atomi company to ask if there was a setting somewhere. They replied the next day and asked for a photo showing the problem. I sent the photo and they replied right back that they would replace my unit. This is well after the warranty period has expired. They sent me a replacement coffe maker, I had to keep my carafe, within a few days. They really didn't have to do this. I very much appreciate the very timely response to my issue and then to replace a 4 year old device was beyond great. My new coffee maker works perfectly and makes great coffee. Even attached to the app and Alexa so I am back in the coffee business. I would highy recommend this brand and these people. Because of this experience, I am upgrading my rating from 4 to 5 stars. They deserve it for having a great product and standing by it.

It's embarrassing this is called a "smart" coffee maker. Why is it "smart?" 100% because you can use your phone to either set it's scheduled starts, or to turn it on to brew a pot. Coffee remains warm for 4 hours AND THAT IS IT. That's it. Nothing else. You cannot go to an appointment, remember the pot might have turned off, turn it on on your way home so you can have that one more cup of hot coffee... no. It will error out that it doesn't have water to brew a new pot. There's nothing "smart" about this pot, if it always requires you to set up a pot to brew, being able to turn it on remotely is dependent on whether you were smarter to set up the pot. If you had half a pot left from earlier and just wanted to reheat it, nope. As mentioned elsewhere - if you accidentally unplug it and plug it back in, that's it - you get no more hot coffee the rest of the day. I cannot say how dumb this is. For the pricetag, not having a simple 'keep coffee warm' feature - it's a hotplate. How do you have it so you can't turn on the hotplate? Seriously, if you want a coffee pot designed by non-coffee drinkers to merely be able to hit an on switch from out of the room, this is for you. What would be smarter is a dumb on/off coffee maker set always to "on" with a smart outlet. It would be about 10% of the cost and you'd be able to have a hot cup of coffee waiting for you without resetting the pot. UPDATE: it will no longer connect. It won't brew. It is full of water, and the thing refuses to even brew a pot. I've redone the set up for an hour, can't even get it to do anything. It claims it has no water, and every trouble shooting tip is "make sure it has water" or "make sure it is plugged in." there's no "hey, if this fails, hold this down 8 minutes and it should brew"...nothing. I have an expensive paper weight.

After 2 replacements and 4 years my old smart coffee maker (from a well-known brand) finally died. So, I was looking for a new smart coffee maker as I like the option of being able to use an app or Alexa to turn on and off my coffee maker. I came across this Atomi Smart WiFi Coffee Maker and even after reading some of the reviews (which I always do) I went ahead and requested it. I can tell you after using it for the past few days I'm impressed with the quality and performance of this smart coffee maker. It works better than the old brand I had and the taste of my coffee is so much better. I love how easy it is to setup and use with my favorite ground coffee or some of freshly ground coffee beans. I read other reviews were some people had issues with the app working or connecting to WiFi but the only issue I had was when setting it up for the first time I had to add it to the app manually as the app wasn't finding. Once I had it added, which only took a minute, it worked perfectly with both the Atomi app and Alexa. I recommend that you have the coffee maker near your router or possible use a WiFi extender as my router is only about 20 feet from my kitchen and the location of the smart coffee maker. I think that helped a lot in setting it up and getting it to connect to my WiFi. I was able to turn on my coffee this morning while outside doing some work so when I came back in my coffee was hot and ready. Overall, I love the quality and the taste and how great this smart coffee maker works and highly recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars.
