Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Spent almost one Sunday afternoon studying dash cams sold on Amazon, it was more difficult than I had expected since I didn't plan to spend over $80 for a dash cam. To be honest, my daily drive is under 10 miles and I just don't see the point of investing in a $300 one at this moment. I struggled to figure out the differences and came to the point of giving up- I just order randomly based on the review and "Amazon's choice".The shipment arrived well packed, the dash cam is well manufactured- the material is plastic but there is no rough edge. I read some review about how user manual is poorly translated and the font-size is crazily small. IT IS TRUE!! but the good thing is, it's very likely you get to figure the all thing out without reading the manual. A small problem I encountered is the SD card slot, I had really hard time inserting the card, you will need something pointy, like a pen or so to properly put in the card.The video quality is decent, it is a solid 10/10 in the daytime. I want to say it is good for the evening as well if you don't care about reading the plate number- but again, this is my first dash cam so there is no comparison aside from the reviews I read about other dash cams. Considering what I paid for this cam, I am generally happy.One comment is, I do hope that the USB cable can be longer. I prefer to use my current car charger that can charge two devices at the same time and the cable is just not long enough, I have to order another USB cable.I am generally happy with the purchase, it has a great price point and the performance is definitely beyond average.

I love this product, the screen is clear, it connects straight to your phone and it starts recording right away. The resolution of the camera is bright and clear, you can see every little detail on the outside. It's starts as soon as you open the car door and it turns off once you turn the car off all automatically, you do not have to attach any cables to the car only the charger. Having a dash cam is a great way to protect yourself while driving in case of an accident and it's simple to setup and use.

My latest favorite toy so far this year!!:)I live in Florida and Taylor of the road scenery is worth capturing on video , as well asfor security purposes got the cameras in the high-quality definition and for its price it's a it's a real steel… I definitely recommend this one to anyone or have a car especially if you live in a place worth capturing or even if we're going on a vacation and take this with you and enjoy the ride and all of your experiences captured on video 👍👍

I like this dashcam for its function and clean installation; however, I am having issues with it over-heating and the LED screen going all white. The camera's LED screen "whited out" again (this was at least the 10th time) a few days ago in 68 deg F outside temp here in southern California. The fix is to unplug power from the camera for several minutes and let it cool down. So, for myself, this is a disappointment that operationally the camera will not work for me due to the screen going all white and being un-viewable.

Works great! Video quality is excellent..even at night. Its a good size. I placed it behind my rear view mirror so I don't see it at all..other than the power cable. From the outside it blended well with the rear view mirror so you couldnt tell the camera was there. It did take me a while to figure out how to turn on the wifi function. It did say how in the manual but not where I thought it would be. But anyways, it works. Highly recommended product.

The Vikcam Dash Cam works just fine. The picture quality is good enough to read a license plate at a stop light. The wireless feature is nice and makes it easier to change the settings via an iPhone than by using the small screen, although the small screen is pretty easy to use also. You can use this as a web cam, although not sure why you would want to.. but the option is there. I wish they had a website with an FAQ, since the manual is not the easiest to read &understand (small print & English translation not the best). But I managed to get it setup just fine without the manual so it isn’t really rocket science. For the price I paid, I give it 5 stars

Picture is really good. I have tried 3 different out lets and the plug loosens with time The video is really good. It is worth the money.
