I wish I had seen these an hour earlier as my hands were in bad shape for a few weeks
I first saw the FitFour Gloves a few months ago at my first Spartan race. I'd just torn the calluses off on my hand doing rope obstacles, I wish I had seen these an hour earlier as my hands were in bad shape for a few weeks. I picked these up and just used them for back-to-back races and they worked great. My hand were doing much better at the end of day two as opposed two some of my fellow runners who complained about rope burn and roughed up hands.Pros: Light weight and unobtrusive, they don't hold water and weigh your hands down. I hardly noticed them during my running. They provided extra grip and protection during my rope related obstacles. They fit in small running pockets well.Cons: Not great when wet on metal. I did a test grab on a bar related obstacle and they actually made my grip worse, so I took them off. If they are dry, they work fine on bars. A little slow to get back on mid race, but not terrible. Because they are smaller, slightly higher risk of losing them. The only reason I'm not giving these 5 stars is because of the slippery aspect I experienced when they were wet, but I was not totally surprised by this. As long as you are aware of that if you use these for OCR you will be fine, and you can evaluate when to use them per obstacle. FWIW, I did recommend FitFour to another racer in my group and she picked up a pair on site before the race. After the race she did tell me she was really happy with the gloves. I'll always have a pair on me at race time.

Could benefit from a bit more padding
Complaints about getting the gloves on and off are definitely personal problems. I had no issues taking the gloves on and off during HIIT, and because the gloves are so light, I didn't even really need to take them off when running.I downgraded the gloves because while sufficient for weight lifting, they have a negligible effect while rowing. Decline in quality
Have bought these several times before (about once a year for four years), but this time the quality seems much lower. The fabric on top is much thinner and less stretchy. And, the silicone inside that in the past held it in place above your knuckles is smaller and allows the seams to rub against the knuckles. Definitely doesn't fit as well. I have loved these in the past and recommended to dozens of people at my gym, but not anymore.

Prevents Most Callus From Forming. Good Grip.
About 3 months ago I got into deadlifts. I've already been doing weight squats, but that didn't ruin my hands. I'm a woman who is fine with doing these weight based exercises, but I did not want to get calluses on my hands. Call me shallow, but I didn't want rough hands like my boyfriend. I didn't want full sized gloves, and really I just needed something to help protect me against calluses and had a good grip.I've been using them for 2 months now. It hasn't prevented callus from forming 100%, but I'd say with all the lifting I do, it's prevent about 90% of it from forming. Their lightweight and thin. They come in a small re-sealable plastic pouch, which is nice, so you don't lose it. Make sure you measure your hands before you get this. I was very very slightly over 3 inches, but I erred on the side of caution based on one of the reviewers and got a Medium instead of a small. It worked out perfectly.

Nice product, got wrong size for me
My hand measurement (3 ") was right between women's small and med (I looked on their website for fit guide). As I was going to use them to help grip when doing pullups, I chose the small, since some folks said they had issues with slippage. Well, I should have bought the mediums, since they are kinda tight and tire out my hands quickly-- hand muscles fighting the tight elastic when gripping the bar. The product itself is well made, very grippy dots, and pretty easy to get on and off. Learn from my mistake, kids...

Great gloves when it's not too humid
I love these gloves that aren't gloves, because I like to know I can grip the bar or whatever equipment I need to grip. These are great because they protect the more delicate and friction prone creasing part of my hand between the fingers and palm, so it's great. However, I do not like to use these when it is hot and humid, because then even with some chalk on the hands first, the moisture will build up underneath, which can lead to tearing (especially on the pull up bar). In other words, they are not breathable when it's too humid and hot, but, since they only cover part of the hand, it doesn't matter most of the year.Best time to use is any other time of year that is not humid and hot - winter is great, so too is using during spring and fall!

Also makes great Driving Gloves!!!
At first I purchase a small size but it was just too tight. The medium fit nice and snug I wouldn’t want this to be loose, but I noticed that the backside had the elastic riding back-and-forth over my knuckles I wish it would go just a little further down on my hand towards my wrist it would feel a little more secure. But actually the quality of the sticky dots is amazing it really does grip. I have a little arthritis and hand pain so I was really happy when I was driving home to notice that the grip was so good I could turn my steering wheel without having to grab around the wheel . I’m buying a pair of gloves for my car so I can always drive with them, they’re amazing! And they’re great in the gym too!

just ok with slippage
These are just ok. They'll do the job but will need constant adjusting as they slip, and yes I ordered the right size. It is an issue of design and not fit. If you're doing exercises on bars like pull ups or cross-fit stuff, these will frustrate you as they'll slip and loosen your grip mid-exercise, especially with sweating. The slippage occurs from the inside of the glove, not the outside. They're ok for reps on dumbbells, do a rep, adjust the glove, do another rep, adjust the glove...etc... not an advanced level glove design. I ordered another pair with wrist strap support to secure the glove better, hopefully those will work better with bar exercises.

Great comfort and durable
Bought them 3 years ago and use them regularly for weight training. Still perfect, no calluses and no sweaty hands.

Caused blisters
I bought these to prevent calluses and after the second use, where I was rowing and deadlifting, I had massive blisters on both palms below my middle finger. They did nothing but pinch and cause friction.

More cosmetic than practical
These are more cosmetic than anything else. They runb even more when doing pull ups, dips etc. A waste of money I would say. I've never managed to use them for a whole workout

Four Stars
Good product just a little pricey.

Great mitts
Used today for pull ups & kipping practice. Doubt they'll stop calluses but hands were not sore afterwards, so mitts will be worth it.
