I found this while I was in a cast, and although I did not use it to go out, but it is a great cover if you do need to go out with your cast and cover it up. It’s breathable and a great sock for your cast.

I used this as a sleeping sock, so the yucks of the day didn’t get in the bed. It also made it smooth so the boot didn’t get caught on things or scratch his other leg. Just what we needed. Easy to use and easy to clean.

I ordered the correct size based on the measurements. It fit over my cast perfectly and kept it clean and my toes warm. Only negative is it gets snagged from the cast. Overall fits well and protects my cast.

I was hesitant to order these, as the length of the foot bed was listed at 10 inches. I wear a size women’s 11 shoe (men’s 9) and my toes stick out of my cast, making the total length of my foot beyond 10 inches. These fit FINE, with room to spare. Works great for daily use and also keeps my plastic cast cover for showering from snagging on the rough spots of my cast and getting holes. Elastic at the top doesn’t slip but is not too tight on my leg. And I don’t have skinny legs!

These fit nicely over my cast which ended about 6 inches below my knee. It provided a good cover and kept my toes protected. The only issue is the fabric is so thin that it quickly wore a hole in the heel. I had a fiberglass cast and only for two weeks, but the sock failed after a week. If you have to keep a cast for an extended period, then expect to have to repair these or buy extra.

My son wanted to have friends sign his cast. I didn’t want an ugly cast at dressier events. Perfect solution. Also keeps it so clean. Works great.
