This is not see-through and has good coverage
This looks amazing in our bathroom window, it is not see-through in any way and covers the window well. The tools were included to install it, and it was very easy. I would definitely recommend.

Clings great! Perfect for privacy!
Looks great and definitely can’t see through! Perfect for our window in the shower! Didn’t come with the tools but I already had what was needed. I left a space for natural light to come and I still need to trim up a few areas. Clings great!

A little short
Purchased this to replace faux wood blinds attached to small bathroom. First, the directions were straight forward. I cut the vinyl 1 inch wider than my window. I cleaned the window with rubbing alcohol. Then, I sprayed a fair amount of water on the glass. I started the placement at the top of the glass, noting the design would be upside down if removed from the roll as is. I began placing the film, using a rubber squeegee to remove any air bubbles. The biggest issue I had was cutting the 1 inch off & removing those bubbles. I decided to cut it, then I pulled the film up to respray. I found at some points my new straight edge razor blade, did not cut all the way through & occasionally tore. Being very careful not to pull, I simply recut, leaving spaghetti thin pieces on the edge. These attached fairly well, since they were not cut all the way. By the time I got to the bottom of the door, I realized the vinyl was a little short. It’s a beautiful design & install was easy enough. I do recommend 2 people, go slow if it’s only you. Don’t be afraid to pull up & smooth out again as you go. One thing to check, measure the length, and plan accordingly. I did not measure my door, so that’s on me. It looks real, as if I purchased the door with etched glass.

Easy to install
Easy to install gives enough light at any time of the day. Good for hard to reach windows. If I had a blind , it would be too dark if it were down and to light if it was up, this works great.

Easy install & looks good
#1: Happy wife and it looks way better than the picture. #2: Input from the husband that installed it: I bought the window kit you see at home depot or on amazon for $15 and I did use it. However, it’s a cheap razorblade, a piece of plastic, and soapy water. The spray was used, but I used a box cutter. All you have to do with this is measure the window, cut it with 1inch extra slack, peel the film off, and throw it on the window. You don’t need tape, the soapy water will hold it in place. I will say this. If your wife is wanting this thing installed right, buy the kit. But I would definitely use a standard razor blade when cutting the window. It’s so much easier to just slide the plastic along the window and cut as you go. This should take you 10min to do. Don’t be intimidated by it.

Easy and Better Quality
Very simple and easy to put up. So nice, I didn’t even need to do the whole adhering to the glass thing. Much nicer and thicker quality that expected too!

Pretty expensive, & a Bear to install alone, but pretty when done.
Used as a privacy panel on a 3-part, clear glass shower wall. I chose the 35" width, laid sideways, to cover the area from knees, to mid-nose. TIPS: 1) Select pattern that looks equally good vertically, or horizontally. Not all will, so Keep it in mind. 2) Remove handles, wash wall with Windex, & tape door shut in several places. 3) To Align edge properly, apply blue tape where the top will be. A level helps. 4) I installed it all in one big piece, then came back to cut the slots for the doors. 5) Use a SHARP knife, & hold taught above where you're cutting. It wants to stretch. It was hard to do by myself, but I didn't try to do sections, because that seemed harder to align. I peeled the backing off for the first section, adhered it as best I could, then peeled back more, only as much as I was doing, as I went. Fortunately, this stuff is not glued, so if you go awry, you can always peel it back & try again. (It took me a few tries to get it started, as I was juggling the water spray, the roll, the backing, & trying to get it straight on my tape line. ) Once I got the first section aligned properly, it was easier. (2 people would have made this a lot easier, but I did it alone.) This stuff is very hard to cut, even with a sharp blade in your box cutter knife. It stretches, & tries to pull off, as you try to cut it. Not sure if a scissor would be any easier - to cut around knobs & hinges, but I got it good enough - though not perfect. Hold the top taught as you cut, & be realistic in expectations, & you'll be happier. The last picture shows a closeup of me, behind the panel, so you can see how transparent it is. I'm standing very close to the door, as I take the selfie from the other side. You can see darkness, but no definition, which is a lot better than being naked for all the world to see. : ) I would have preferred to do the entire wall, vertically, but the price is too high for that, so this works. It's not perfect, but the overall pattern & haze is good enough to hide my tiny bubbles, which I may or may not ever peel back to try to get them out. Big bubbles do show, but tiny ones are not such a big deal, with a busy pattern. Nobody stands 3 inches from the wall, to notice. So far (day 2), I'm happy, & it's not peeling off. I felt a lot better showering last night in there, so yay. : )

Excellent Privacy Solution with Natural Light!
I recently purchased this Window Privacy Film and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed! The installation was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly peel-and-stick application. I was pleasantly surprised by how effectively it obscures the view from outside, providing the privacy we needed in our home. What I love the most is that while it ensures privacy, it doesn't compromise on the natural light. Our rooms are as bright and sunny as they were before, which is a huge plus. The film is also quite durable and has held up well so far, showing no signs of peeling or fading. In terms of aesthetics, it has added a nice touch to our windows, making them look more stylish and modern. I highly recommend the Window Privacy Film to anyone looking for an easy, affordable, and effective way to enhance privacy in their home or office. A great product indeed!

Great Window Covering
We recently got. New front door with a window and screen. We wanted privacy and we wanted the natural light at the same time. This fit the bill. Looks simple (design) so it is not overly “busy” pattern. I guess I’d say a bit of a classic look. Easy to install. Price was great. It has adhered to the glass with no bubbling etc. Would recommend this..

Easy to install.
Item is easy to install, but the description for product is not accurate. It does not blackout window, not even close to pitch black. Currently its cloudy here and lots of snow on the ground. Once summer comes and full sun is available these windows with the filament installed will not be useful at all. First picture is no light on in room, second pic is with camera flash. The filament does help reduce light coming in but it's not close to a black out.
